This week's Dystopia drop is live Jasper calls himself an envoy. Bradson finally has another name for him - Morlock. Another piece of Dystopia’s history emerges. More at dystopia.ink
Shadow’s Depths page 9 of the Dystopia webcomic shows the tense encounter beneath the Spill beginning to shift from confrontation toward conversation.

In the first panel, Jasper stands facing Bradson. Jasper is tall and pale green, with an unusually long humanoid face, red eyes, thin tendrils that originate around his eyes and radiate outward, and large bat-like wings that fold behind him. Bradson extends a hand toward Jasper and says, “Well, now I know them and you know my name and rank, but I don’t know yours.”

In the second panel, Jasper gestures calmly while answering, “I have no rank, except perhaps, ‘envoy.’” Bradson extends his hand toward Jasper.

In the third panel, Frazier moves to interrupt the exchange, raising his handgun and urgently calls, “Lieutenant! We don’t know how they might be connected to-!” Bradson cuts him off with, “-all of that-!” Jasper remains calm beside them.

A large fourth panel places Bradson in the foreground, his blue eyes focused sternly on Frazier.

In the fifth panel, Frazier still holding his handgun while Jasper stands nearby. Bradson explains, “They’re not trying to kill us, unlike everything else I’ve ever seen down here. Humans included.”

The sixth panel focuses tightly on Bradson’s hand clasping Jasper’s pale green hand in a handshake.

In the final panel, their hands begin to separate. Bradson looks up at Jasper with sudden recognition and says, “You’re Morlocks.”

Introductions are easy. Understanding what you’ve just met is harder. This week's #comic drop is live at → dystopia.ink
Shadow’s Depths page 8 of Dystopia shows Bradson and Frazier facing Jasper, Modrena, and Beren beneath the Spill as the introductions continue.

In the first panel, Bradson stands to the left with one hand on Frazier’s arm, trying to keep him calm. Frazier stands in front of him, tense and alarmed, holding a handgun toward Jasper. Jasper is seen from behind, his pale green head, pointed ear, and branching facial structures visible. Frazier demands, “Who are you?! How do you know his name?!”

In the second panel, Jasper faces them directly. He is tall, thin, and pale green, with red eyes, wing-like structures behind him, and long tendrils rising from the sides of his head. Bradson and Frazier look up at him as Jasper calmly replies, “I can read, of course.”

In the third panel, Bradson looks down at the name and rank insignia on his chest, his helmet and raised night-vision gear framing his focused expression.

In the fourth panel, Jasper points toward Frazier and says insignia are not difficult to learn unless the Force has changed the meaning of one silver bar, identifying him as “Colonel.”

In the fifth panel, Jasper introduces Modrena, who stands in front of him with light blue skin, tendril-like hair, a dark shirt, jeans, and folded arms. He calls her one of their Links.

In the sixth panel, Jasper gestures and introduces Beren as one of their Diggers.

The final wide panel shows Bradson and Frazier small on the left, facing Jasper and Modrena beneath a huge purple organic canopy formed by Beren. Beren’s massive face stretches across the top of the opening, his heavy-lidded eyes looking out from the membrane while his yellow-clad cylindrical lower torso supports the tunnel opening. A rumbling sound effect reads, “KRRRUMMMBBLLL!”

The rubble opened. Something stepped through. And it already knew Bradson’s name. This week’s drop is live - for more → dystopia.ink
Page 7 of the Dystopia comic Shadow's Depths shows Bradson and Frazier beneath the Spill as the rubble opens and three strange new figures enter the scene.

In the first, large panel, Bradson and Frazier are seen from behind in the foreground, crouched among broken rock and debris. Frazier holds a handgun up toward the newly opened passage while Bradson reaches toward him, trying to stop him from firing. Ahead of them, a massive purple organic being has pushed through the collapsed wall like a living canopy or membrane, holding back the rubble around the opening. A large rumbling sound effect stretches across the top of the panel. Bright white light pours through the passage, silhouetting two figures beyond it. One tall winged figure stands to the left, and a smaller figure stands to the right. Broken rebar and jagged rock frame the opening.

In the second panel, the view shifts to the two soldiers facing the figures. Frazier stands stiffly with his handgun still raised, while Bradson steps toward him and places a hand on his arm, trying to calm or restrain him. The foreground shows the back of one of the strange figures, with a hand raised toward the soldiers. A speech balloon says, “I’m not sure I’ll be able to ‘prove’ anything, Lieutenant Bradson.”

In the final panel, two of the figures are revealed more clearly. The taller figure is pale green, thin, and humanoid, with pointed ears, large eyes, long fingers, and wing-like structures rising behind him. He stands with one hand extended in a calm, diplomatic gesture. Beside him is a shorter blue-skinned figure with tendril-like hair, wearing a dark shirt and jeans, arms folded quietly. The taller figure says, “But I’ll do my best to show you the different world you’ve been thinking of.”

On this week's Liege Doomveil #webcomic update, Sandra really thinks they should leave. liegedoomveil.thecomicseries.com
Princess Sandra holds a firm hand up to the viewer to indicate a "halt", wearing a noble sneer despite being soaking wet and having several well-crinkled strands of hair and running makeup.
SANDRA: I'm banishing you both.

Sandra is staring down Crimsonheart, Prince Index and Librina, who also appear heavily rained on, just outside a doorway of the castle, as they stand out in the storm, rain pouring down. Index's glasses have a crack in one lens.
CRIMSONHEART: It was an accident--
SANDRA: This all feels FAR beyond the limitations of the Great Treaty OR the Open Heart Accord.

Prince Index rolls his eyes behind Crimsonheart. Princess Sandra looks at Index from the doorway, smiling in a way that doesn't reach her eyes.
INDEX: I'd be surprised if YOU'VE read a treaty...
SANDRA: Do you know the first thing I said to Ruby after you broke off the engagement?

Sandra leans forward with a cruel sincerity, eyes still widened.
SANDRA: "Congratulations."

Crimsonheart lifts a hand up, trying to pause Sandra and Index's arguments. Sandra gestures up to her storming castle with fierce anger.
CRIMSONHEART: I'm REALLY sorry! But, could--
SANDRA: JUST GO

Bradson and Frazier argue over the Force, containment, and what it really means to be trapped inside Dystopia. This week's drop is live. More #webcomics → dystopia.ink
A Dystopia comic page from Chapter 4: Shadow's Depths shows Bradson and Frazier trapped beneath the Spill, continuing their tense argument inside the collapsed space.

In the first panel, Frazier stands behind Bradson, who is crouched near the rubble and working by the harsh glow of Frazier’s handlight. Frazier asks what Bradson’s point is. Bradson replies that Frazier has been assigned to the most pointless job in the Force and has suffered the consequences, just like the people trapped inside Dystopia.

The second panel shows Frazier in close-up, angry and gesturing with one hand as he asks whether Bradson has completely abandoned the mission.

In the third panel, Bradson rises and turns sharply toward Frazier, shouting, “What mission?!” He challenges the idea that their mission is anything more than acting as glorified zookeepers, making sure the desperate people left inside Dystopia cannot make contact with the rest of humanity. Frazier is seen from behind with both hands raised.

The fourth panel is a close-up of Bradson’s face, partly framed by his helmet and night-vision gear. He says they have failed, because the Rogue Corps make contact with the real world regularly, and people walk into Dystopia all the time. He adds that they only try to make sure people cannot walk out.

The fifth panel shows Frazier in an angry close-up. He insists that the safety of the general public requires containment of the city, and says Bradson is defying a direct order not to make contact.

The final panel shows Bradson in the foreground with his visor down while Frazier gestures behind him. Frazier says containment is the only real answer when facing things whose only purpose is to destroy them.

There is a rescue protocol. There is also a shoot-on-sight directive. Guess which one matters in the Spill. This weeks #cyberpunk #webcomic is live at dystopia.ink
A Dystopia comic page shows Bradson and Frazier trapped beneath the Spill in a collapsed underground space lit by a green glow. In the first panel, Frazier is shown from the chest up in his green military uniform and cap. He looks worried and asks whether there is a recovery protocol under the Spill and whether anyone will try to dig them out.

The second panel is a close view of Bradson adjusting his vision gear. He explains that even if rescue is possible, anyone lost out here is considered lost. He says no one who has been as close to “those things” as they have has ever made it back, and he doubts anyone would change the “shoot on sight” directive just because Frazier is a full bird.

In the third panel, Frazier reacts with disbelief as Bradson gets the night vision overlay working, casting a bright green glow across the space. Frazier repeats, “Shoot on sight?!” and asks what Bradson is talking about.

The fourth panel pulls back to show Bradson and Frazier kneeling among rubble, broken concrete, and twisted debris. Bradson explains that they will be assumed infected and shot like anything else moving on the Spill. In the fifth panel, Frazier coughs and angrily insists that the idea is insane, saying they are part of the Force and that there has to be a rescue procedure.

The final panel shows Bradson turning sharply toward Frazier and pushing back. He says there does not have to be anything, reminding Frazier that the Force is voluntary, that they took the risk and will pay the price, and that the virus carried by the creatures spreads easily, especially through the Net. He ends by saying that everyone is plugged in.

Chapter Four begins in the dark. The problem is what might be waiting there. Chapter Four of Dystopia, Shadow’s Depths, begins now → dystopia.ink
A Dystopia webcomic page opens Chapter Four, Shadow’s Depths. The first panel is a title card on a dark gray background with the Dystopia logo, the words “Chapter Four”, and the chapter title “Shadow’s Depths” in large glitch-styled lettering.

Two narrow dark panels follow. One contains the sound effect “scrabble” against blackness. The next shows only darkness and a speech balloon with a cough.

The page then reveals Bradson and Frazier trapped beneath rubble in a cramped, collapsed space. A yellow caption box reads, “There is such a thing as absolute darkness, either that or we’re dead and it’s much less exciting than anything Jimmy promised.” We see Bradson partly buried under broken concrete and twisted debris, his green military uniform and helmet visible in the dim light.

In the next panel, Bradson adjusts his vision gear while surrounded by cracked concrete and metal supports. Another yellow caption box says that Jimmy did not really say much about the hell after the “Hell on Earth” the city had become.

A wider panel shows Bradson still working with his helmet and goggles while Frazier awakens nearby in the rubble. Frazier asks, “Where-? What happened-? Where are we?” Bradson’s caption says Jimmy was timely and lived in the moment.

The final panel shows a close view of Bradson tapping his earpiece and adjusting his vision system. He tells Frazier he has no idea where they are, but assumes they are somewhere under the Spill. He explains that they were sliding toward a large crater when the last shell hit.

The city collapsed. The levels broke apart. The clown kept selling burgers. This week's Dystopia drop is live → more #webcomics at dystopia.ink
A Dystopia interlude between chapters three and four. We view the final of four found artifacts from the world of Haven. The image is a loud, brightly colored advertisement for a fast-food chain called Burger Clown.

At the top, huge yellow letters with a bold red outline read “BURGER CLOWN!” against a pale yellow burst of radiating speed lines. A rough hand-painted black exclamation mark sits to the right of the logo.

Below, a wide-eyed clown leans in from the left side of the image. He has wild red hair, a chalk-white skin that does not appear to be face paint, and stares directly at the viewer with wide, maniacal red eyes. Blue accents appear above and below his eyes, and bright green lips frame a wide, toothy grin. He wears a pale ruffled clown collar.

To the right is an oversized hamburger with a sesame seed bun, curly green lettuce, red onion slices, tomato, melted cheese, a thick beef patty, and sauce dripping from the bottom. The food is rendered in an attractive, tempting style.

Large black text at the bottom reads “IS HERE FOR YOU!” Smaller text below says, “As long as you need our burgers, we’ll be around!” A final line reads, “Come see us on levels 3 AND 4!” The dystopia.ink URL appears in the bottom right corner.

A dome. A garden. A name from ancient philosophy. Haven has produced stranger things, but rarely anything this quiet. This week's Dystopia #webcomic drop is live → more at dystopia.ink
A Dystopia interlude page presents a found artifact. Against a gray, stormy sky with faint city buildings at the bottom, a television-news style graphic fills the top of the page. A red-and-yellow “23 News” sidebar and a black headline bar read: “BREAKING NEWS ‘Garden’ appears at ‘Dystopia’.”

The inset image shows part of a strange dome with a transparent hexagonal surface rising over a shattered cliffside landscape, with dark tree silhouettes and fragments of structures around it.

Beneath the news image, a jagged white quote box contains a reporter’s statement to “Rhonda,” explaining that locals do not know how the dome appeared. The report says that one day the area was part of the shattered cliffside known as “the Rim,” and the next day there was a picturesque garden enclosed in a dome made of an unknown material.

The reporter adds that a young Asian man at the dome’s edge said the owner of “the Garden” is a man named Epicurus, like the ancient Greek philosopher. The page ends with the note that no one interviewed knows who that is either.

A burned page. A written chant. A door no soul survives. This week's Dystopia drop is live - more at dystopia.ink
A found artifact from the world of Dystopia is shown as a crumpled sheet of lined notebook paper lying on a wood surface. The lower left and bottom edges of the paper are burned away, leaving dark scorched borders. Two notebook holes are visible on the left side, and the page is wrinkled and worn.

The text on the paper is written in jagged black handwriting. It reads:

“The shadows are deep
The life source’s poor
No souls exist that can survive through that door
we wait for the word
that wills us to be
The warriors of those who can still see
Our time has come
The blackness declares
The shadows that herald our march on the stairs
The path laid before us
Leads right to that door
All sing the whispers of the Lords of the Morgue”

A fictional corporate memo from Überreich Synthogen is shown on a white page. The company logo appears at the top, a medical cross inside a red circle above the company name.

The memo is titled, “Re: June memo on the separation of our organizations,” and is addressed to the board of directors, primary shareholders, and executives of Überreich Munich.

The body of the memo explains that Überreich Haven has chosen to separate from the Munich organization after the Collapse. The writer argues that Haven’s changed reality and the city’s new possibilities make it impossible to continue under the old structure. The memo references Überreich’s mission to “Push the boundaries,” along with progress in data security, AI development, and the Palaipafos venture. The memo is signed by Taylor Levine, CEO of Überreich Haven.

A yellow sticky note is attached near the bottom of the page. In handwritten text, it says, “He’s still using ‘CEO’! How do we fix this? -J”

Chapter Three ends where Ventrik always wanted to go: deeper This week's Dystopia drop is live - more at dystopia.ink
Page 30 follows Ventrik alone inside one of Scylla’s organic tunnel openings. In the first panel, the view looks back into the chamber where Tanya has been pushed into Scylla's tendrils. Seen over Ventrik’s right shoulder, he bends down to pick up the tablet Tanya had been carrying. The screen shows a self-image of Tanya, fitter and more athletic, with the gray cloud of whirling fangs that is Scylla beginning to envelop her from behind.

The second panel is a close view of the tablet in Ventrik’s hands. Tanya’s image on the Net is being shredded by Scylla. Her eyes remain on an arc of digitized squares, like one of the last figments of her, while a long scream trails across the panel.

In the third panel, Ventrik faces the tablet directly. His expression remains calm and analytical. His augmented glove rests against the tablet while a yellow caption box reads, “Identity destruction? But slower than the real? Something spiritual even?”

In the fourth panel, Ventrik turns the tablet off with a click. The green glow fades against his hand as he stands within the organic tunnel.

The final panel shows Ventrik’s silhouette outlined in faint purple light as he moves deeper into the dark passage, carrying the tablet. A yellow caption box reads, “Perhaps something to explore closer to the source? Maybe.”

The top panel is an extreme close-up of Tanya’s wide blue eyes, her expression shocked and terrified. A small speech balloon between her eyes reads, “What-?”

Three narrow panels show Ventrik shoving Tanya from within the cave entrance. In each panel, she falls backward into the waiting tendrils of Scylla. At first, Ventrik’s augmented glove is shoves Tanya in the chest as she loses balance. In the next panel, her body tilts farther back as the pink tendrils begin wrapping around her arms and torso. In the third, more tendrils seize her body, tightening around her limbs and neck as sound effects indicate snapping and crushing.

The final large panel shows Tanya suspended in open space as Scylla’s tendrils tear her apart. Her body is violently separated at the torso, with blood spraying across the background. Additional tendrils bind her legs, waist, neck, and head as sound effects define the damage.

Scylla may not be the most unsettling thing in this tunnel. This weeks drop is live → More at dystopia.ink
Ventrik and Tanya retreat into the Scylla's tunnel network as a mass of pink tendrils fills the chamber behind them.

In the first panel, the pair run toward a tunnel entrance while the creature's tendrils dominate the foreground. The murky green "cess" winds through the chamber below and blood stains the wall near the opening where corporate security have recently been killed.

Tanya stumbles as they enter the tunnel. Ventrik reaches toward her with his technologically augmented glove while she catches herself on the dark, root-like structures embedded in the passage.

Crouched inside the tunnel, Tanya pauses as another loud screech echoes through the chamber. Tendrils remain visible behind her through the opening.

The conversation shifts as Ventrik asks whether Tanya is "present" and whether Scylla can see her online. Tanya kneels within the tunnel and listens while the chaos continues beyond the entrance.

A close-up panel shows Tanya explaining that she is only peripheral and not actively manifesting. Her expression is thoughtful and measured despite the danger around them.

In the final two panels, Ventrik extends his hand to help Tanya rise. Ventrik places his augmented hand on her shoulder. He appears focused and determined as he tells her that her answer will make for an even better test.
