On 9/11 I’m thinking of: The millions dead due to the “War on Terror”. The discrimination and bigotry faced by Muslims and SWANA folks. Those with medical conditions due to 9/11 who often struggle to access healthcare. Impacts like these tend to be overlooked.

Since it's Pokemon day, wanted to share more on one of the projects I've been researching--How Pokemon Sun and Moon depicts Hawaii! I've also been learning Hawaiian for this. I think the fact that Pokemon games are also in many ways depoliticized travel games based on real locations is important.
