I just finished The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater. This has been promoted as her adult debut, I have always enjoyed the majority of her books. History touched with a bit of Appalachian mysticism, this is a wonderful book. #maggiestiefvater #blueskybooks #booksky

Why does the MLB advertise ‘every out of market game if you pay to stream MLB.tv’ then black out the games on Apple+, RokuTelevison, ESPN? We save every season so we can watch our favorite teams on MLB.tv. I think we are being ripped off, bamboozled, sold snake oil. It’s called a swindle by MLB.tv!

Umpire Marvin Hudson needs to get an F on his report card. The pitch he called a ball was a complete and beautiful strike. Not on the corner or the line! Yamamoto was great at keeping his cool. Better than the announcers! 😆 #losangelesdodgers #mlbumpire #mlb

OMG!!! These announcers on ESPN think they’re on Sports Center. Not calling a live game! If I hear Rafael Devers name again I’ll scream. He’s a diva! Get on with the game in front of you!!!! We’ll watch Hot Seat or MLB Tonight if we want to know! Awful announcers! MUTE! #MLB #losangelesdodgers #ESPN

I guess we’re giving this game to the Padres? Sauer isn’t fooling anyone. And Roberts is leaving him in. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Kikè would be doing a better job. #losangelesdodgers

Why is Conforto in the line-up everyday day?? His batting average is less than .200!!!! 😡😡 Does he have dirt on Roberts or someone in the admin??? #losangelesdodgers #mlblosangelesdodgers #mlb

They show Ohtani but it was the whole crew for once! Max Muncy had three HR!!! John Smoltz said, “Dodgers 18-Aaron Judge 2. 🤭

The announcers are idiots. If ESPN wanted to have a talk show with family vaca pictures and wives pings of view, they should move to Oprah, E Entertainment, or Lifetime Channel. Take the announcers too. ESPN is a SPORTS channel. Show sports.

I call bullshit on the obstruction! OMG!!!

Conforto is a waste of space and money. CT3 was always out there running down that ball. He wasn’t a passive outfielder. I love Outman but I know he should have been reassigned and Conforto cut!

Bkwormran @bkwormran.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

They should have cut Conforto. CT3 is always out there running and going after that ball. Not lollygagging and waiting for it to come to him. You’ll always be a favorite #ct3.

Bkwormran @bkwormran.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

Why CT3? He may not be hitting, but at least in that field he’s out there running and catching that ball. Conforto is a waste of space and money. #losangelesdodgers #mlblosangelesdodgers

The man is a spoiled child. She was doing an excellent job. His reckoning will not come soon enough.

If Outman had just hit that ball more to the left, he could have had a home run! That stupid center field line goes up 12 feet. What a stupid design. #losangelesdodgers #mlb

What an IDIOT! Can he really do that? Carla is amazing. He needs to get his hands out of things that he doesn’t understand.

I would love to see Kikè ’Walk Like an Egyptian’ to first base while Dieter plays it on the organ. 🤭. ⚾️💙⚾️💙 #losangelesdodgers

I can’t stand these games on Appletv+. I already pay MLBtv so we can “watch every out of market game.” Liars. I will not pay another streaming service to watch a game I’m already supposed to be able to see. 🤬 #losangelesdodgers #mlbtv #appletv+

But Detroit did very good! I think they’re going to do good things this season.

Last night’s game, between the Angels and Dodgers, was so much fun to watch. It was made better hearing Dino talk with Stephen snd Eric. Hearing him break down his position within the organization. I’ve watched Dino’s boys play ball and they will have a future in the show.

Just finished Three Wild Dogs (and the truth) by Markus Zusak. If you are a dog lover or someone who enjoys a good book about life with animals, I highly recommend this. Soft spoken Markus lays it all out loud and uncensored! 😂 It filled with humor, horror and tons of love. #booksky 💙📚

Love Derting’s series. I have them all! 😁

Very good author! Lovely person. Handed out his books often in our library. 🥰

The spouse and I were talking about this book tonight! Very good. Certainly different.

She’s pretty good at bringing on the tears.

This is the first Crichton book I read. It grabbed me from the first page. That was several years ago. Long before the dinosaurs roamed😎

Finally jumping into The Golden Tresses of the Dead by Alan Bradley. I’ve been holding on to this for a comfort read. I love Flavia and I hear Jayne Entwhistle’s voice in my head as I read. She is Flavia! #booksky 💙📚

Current read is Honeysuckle and Bone by Trisha Tobias. Good ghost story placed in Jamaica. Audio narration does a pretty good cover of the Caribbean accent. #booksky💙📚

This is an odd one for me. I don’t read her books. This is a first, but I must say, this is a good one. I love a good story with ghosts and Nora Roberts hits the nail on the head. Who doesn’t want to inherit a big, gorgeous, Victorian manor house? I recommend heartily. #booksky💙📚

You know why everybody disses the Dodgers? You can say it’s the deep pockets but really, it’s because the team is a family. The respect and build each other up.
