I think one of the many reasons for the anti vax mentality is that many younger people have not seen the ravages of these diseases. I think there needs to be an ad campaign showing those ravages: iron lungs, the results of rubella in the 1st 3 months of pregnancy, the scars of chicken pox, etc.
