Big points: parents aren’t asking for books to be removed & are putting them back when they have the power to do so. And supporters of SB 12 & 13 are “[dropping] their pretense of support for parental rights and local control” when they don’t like what parents choose. Fantastic work, please read.

Honestly, modularity is what makes running a game work for me. I don’t want to run a story like it’s a script, I want to give my players a situation and play along by dropping stuff in, too. Then it’s our story!

So here's how combat against a Doberman went: -I threw my "grenade" (nail polish) at dog, stunning it (✔️Glory) -Buddy cast a "spell" (roman candle) catching the house on fire -Other buddy hit dog with their "mace" (spatula) -I hurl a jar of treats at dog & missed. Now glass is everywhere (❌Glory)

@mikerobertson.info does this at our tables a lot: mark the bounds of a battlemap and then hand the markers to the players to populate the map with...whatever! I love it because if you play the kind of PC who would swing from a chandelier, you get to put the chandelier there. You'll use it!

This week in #TTRPG Land: Ran Spell:the RPG Tues, ran a #Daggerheart playtest Thurs, played Age of Umbra Fri afternoon, then ran Wish Thief Fri evening, aaaand then ran #TarotWeaver RPG Sat. 😴😴😴 I hypothesize that pro GMs were gifted extra mitochondria providing energy or something, bc I’m tired!
