iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Been very slow at actually releasing things, but I've been playing the long game and getting a lot of things ready to be finished in quicker succession. The top section of my pipeline document has never had this many things in it.

92. Super Metroid Controls a little stiffer than Zero Mission and it was easier to get lost, but I still had a great time for most of this. The boss battles were a fair bit stronger and the atmosphere was built even more strongly. Generally still preferred ZM. Why is Ridley such a pushover. 8/10

91. Digger (2026) Genuinely barely have a clue how I feel about this film. 5/10 for now but idk how that'll hold up. It's an extremely strange experience that I'd recommend to about anyone since there seems to be a lot of variance in how much people get out of it.

90. Arcane Season 2 Has some of the show's hardest hitting emotional moments but man I did not feel satisfied with how it ended. Still enjoyed it a lot despite a few pacing problems. I really loved the alternate universe episode and the animation is some of the best I've ever seen. 8/10

89. The Adventures of Tintin My now apparently monthly movie I watched at home! This was so sick dude. Very fun characters, Haddock especially, and some all timer action sequences. Despite the creepy mocap faces, it holds up visually very well. 9/10

88. Spyro Reignited Trilogy 1 & 2 are great, had a lot of fun with those! 3 is mostly solid at its core too but has the weakest new characters and I don't like many of the alternate playstyles, especially the vehicles, so it's hard to say I enjoyed it overall. Full trilogy gets a 7/10 from me.

87. Optimus Prime Awakening Beautiful epilogue for this character that'd likely hit way harder for diehard Transformers fans. Perfect final line for Peter Cullen's iconic portrayal of the character. Rest in peace. 8/10

Before all the updates yesterday I redid my current Overwatch tier list based on how much I like playing each character

86. Shaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom I was apparently one of the first thousand people to log this on Letterboxd because I unknowingly went to a limited theatrical screening before the proper release date, so that's pretty cool! Loved seeing an Aardman project on the big screen! 8/10

85. Skyfall Hey remember when I was watching all the James Bond movies? For some reason I waited nearly 8 months to get around to the best one. 10/10

84. La La Land If you can believe it, the songwriters did better work on this than they did for Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz this same year! 9/10

83. Operation: Tango Been a while since I've done a multiplayer co-op game like this. It's no Portal 2 co-op, but it brought me back to a similar feeling of going through all the puzzles while I yapped with one of my closest friends. I played as the Agent and I'd happily replay as the Hacker. 8/10

Put together a tier list of the Smash roster based on whether I want to see them on Death Battle or not

82. Coyote vs. Acme This movie could've sucked and I would've still been glad it didn't become a tax write off for the higher ups that didn't like the anti-corporate messaging. Thankfully the movie is actually really great, well worth seeking out and supporting. 8/10

81. Bionicle: Mask of Light Watched this with Nem yesterday to prepare for Tahu’s Death Battle appearance and I still don’t fully know how I feel about it. Were the parts I enjoyed because the movie is good or because I was having fun talking with my friend? Who’s to say. 5/10 I think maybe idk

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

80. Inops Fun puzzle game with a great concept. Could sometimes get a little frustrating, especially with the flying enemy things, but I mostly enjoyed myself. Highly recommend to anyone who loves replaying quick and short levels to optimise time and efficiency. 7/10

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

79. Spider-Man: Brand New Day Most of my MCU memory is a litle hazy but I think I would call this one of my top 3 favourites within it. One of the few post-Endgame projects that I've felt justified the franchise continuing. 9/10

130

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

78. Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons Very solid film with a likeable lead and lots of funny bits. The Asura's Wrath scene was peak. Unfortunately it's sort of neutered by the awful romantic interest who did not endear me at all and just kept digging a deeper hole. 7/10

77. The Odyssey (2026) Saw it yesterday in IMAX, a truly stunning experience. Big fan of the Matt Damon and Zendaya cover of Warrior Of The Mind! 9/10

76. Metroid: Zero Mission Finally played a Metroid game so I have escaped that Scott the Woz clip. What a stellar first impression to the series. That Zero Suit segment they added in from the original was so tense, and it felt incredible to get the fully upgraded suit as a reward. 9/10

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

75. Minions & Monsters Was gonna see The Odyssey, but my group wasn't all available so I pushed it back a week and saw this instead for the time being. Kinda fun actually! Not amazing, but it's the most an Illumination film has felt like it had a vision behind it in ages. 6/10

120

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

74. Rayman 2: The Great Escape Great introduction to the 3D side of this series considering my only prior experience was Legends. Would've liked a lot more of the flying levels and less of the rocket horses though. Camera also wasn't great but I could live with it. Tons of fun otherwise! 8/10

110

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

73. Demolition Man Again, forgot to log this yesterday, oops. Mostly a really good time. Surprisingly funny and a very interesting world. Would've probably loved it wholeheartedly if it capitalised more on the emotional hooks it set up and did very little with. 7/10

110

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

72. The Invite It opens with at least four Seth Rogen laughs, and at a later point he looks like he's doing the 6 7 motion while talking about double penetration. Those two things alone should sell you on this! 8/10

110

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

71. Disclosure Day Saw this yesterday too, I really need to remember that this thread is a thing. Had a good time with this. Nothing that blew me away, but I was engaged with the chases and whether they'd make the world aware of the aliens. Could've done with more competent villains though. 7/10

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

70. Toy Story 5 Watched this on holiday a week ago and forgot to update the thread, oops. Had a shockingly great time with this, I laughed a lot and could appreciate the more nuanced "everything in moderation" message. They put Buzz in a kilt to spite me specifically. 9/10

If you pay close attention to Sentry vs Superboy Prime, you’ll notice that they subtly tease some dialogue from the totally real upcoming Mordecai and Rigby vs Finn and Jake

69. Moana 2 Hell yeah dude I love seeing my favourite Disney characters go through the most by the numbers sequel ever, reminding me of the first film at every opportunity! The Kakamora guy was fun though, I liked him. 3/10

120

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

68. Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (2025) Story isn’t all that but at least the animatronic work is still great. I found a lot of their attempts to be scary more funny than anything else. 4/10

120

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

67. Meccha Chameleon I love a good hide and seek game and had fun with this, but drawing usually isn't as much my cup of tea and I don't really enjoy seeking in this. Maybe if my computer could run it better I'd feel differently. 6/10 but take that with a grain of salt.

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

66. Donkey Kong Country Solid game, apparently 2 is even better so I’m looking forward to checking that out once I’ve tackled some other games on NSO. Surprisingly I found the water levels decently fun, the animal companion in those levels was my favourite. 7/10

130

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

65. Among Us (2026 show) Has its moments but mostly did not hit me with its characters or humour. Watched this with friends and we only stuck through it because of how short it was. 3/10

110

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

64. The Amazing Digital Circus Feels weird that it’s over now. Been enjoying this series for the last nearly 3 years but I’m gonna have to let that finale simmer before I can decide how I feel about it, and the show as a complete package.

63. Slender Man (2018) Had a wonderful time watching a film with a close friend of mine! 1/10. Filled me with existential dread that one day I may wake up to find I've been turned into a tree.

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

62. Space Jam: A New Legacy: The Game Didn't know this existed until recently. Would maybe be more fun if I played it in multiplayer. Has some nice ideas but they got in the way of the base combat and some enemies were annoying. If I want an arcade beat em up, I'll play Shredder's Revenge. 5/10

120

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

61. Super Mario Bros. (1985) Surprisingly my first time ever playing this to the end without any modifications. A fun experience and obviously revolutionary for its time. Controls are a little more slippery than I expected but I generally enjoyed most of it, outside of the pick-a-path stuff. 7/10

110

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

60. Ethel & Ernest Very fun and emotionally devastating. More than worth your time to check out. Those last 10 minutes really got me. 10/10

59. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream The hold this game has on me right now is insane. It's even able to pull me away from the Pikmin game I'm replaying for a video. Has some features I miss from the 3DS game, but is overall able to do much more when not restricted to a handheld console. 10/10

150

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

58. Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass My video ranking every Tom and Jerry movie is too far along for this to be included. I don't feel bad about that because this is somehow the worst one. If you want an animated film that incorporates Chinese mythology, watch Ne Zha instead. 2/10

310

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

57. Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition First 10/10 of the thread :) Absolutely wonderful game. An explorable but not overwhelmingly large world, stellar art design, very strong emotional moments carried without words, a new all time favourite of mine. Can't wait to get to the sequel!

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

56. Doom (1993) I remembered video games exist! This was a great time, enemies kept me on my toes and the areas were fun to explore without getting too annoying to navigate all that often. Can't wait to replay it on a Samsung Smart Fridge. 8/10

130

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

55. Mortal Kombat II Congratulations to Mario Galaxy for no longer being the worst video game movie in this thread. I wish this was 2 hours of Uncaged Fury instead, that scene was fun. 3/10

If I have the time for it at the start of 2027, I might do an unscripted video covering every film I see in cinemas this year. I feel like the time has already passed for me to be able to do that for last year’s lineup. Here they all are in a chronological list instead. Not ranked.

54. Bo Burnham: The Inside Outtakes Yeah sure I'll count these too, why not. If I went through this production I would have lost my mind far sooner. 8/10

120

Biveed @biveed.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

53. Bo Burnham: Inside I need to stop forgetting to add things to this thread until the day after. This was super funny and also an existential nightmare! Welcome to the Internet and That Funny Feeling continue to get better for me after every relisten. 9/10

52. The Sheep Detectives Cute and fun! The mystery aspects are the best parts. The emotional moments and jokes didn't always land for me, but some definitely did. I liked when they mentioned Return to Oz because that's the thing I know! Same score as that, 6/10. I like this a little better though.

Getting sent this the day after I posted a Disney ranking video is a very funny coincidence. The roles have been reversed.
