I just learned about #boktober and it really should be #bawcktober to differentiate it from Boktai fan art. Anyway, here's my paltry contribution of a crevecour, a French chicken that looks sufficiently Halloween with his little demon-horn comb. I may bead a chicken at some point.

Mediocre pencil sketch of a crevecour chicken perched on a featureless log which was supposed to be a fence. The V-shaped comb is inked in red and gives off demon horns. The eyes are also inked in and the way the dramatic showgirl crest plumage is situated makes the chicken have angry eyes.

"Crevecoeure chicken" is captioned up top in garbage handwriting. It is also misspelled. Dyslexia is responsible for both these things.

A crevecour chicken inside a chicken house mean mugging the camera. It is the inspiration for the pencil sketch and is solid black with a red, V-shaped comb that looks like tiny demon horns. It has dramatic crest plumage that looks like a fancy feather fan. The neck of the chicken is extended and leaning to the right, like he's about to have angry words with you.

A 41-inch endless knotted rope of ~3mm turquoise nuggets and 12mm baroque edison pearl accents piled onto the palm of my hand. The pearls have a lovely shine to them caught by the outdoor lighting. The turquoise nuggets are a mix of characteristic blue-green/green-blue with black veining.
