I (Caitlin) have recently been filling out the map of the island of Glenmara for our upcoming game. Here's a little peak of a few #scottishthings that will feature :). Excited to show off the full map at some point. Excited to show off the whole game at some point!! 🙏🏻🩵 #wip #screenshotsaturday
Some small vector drawings of prominent things on our fictional Scottish island of Glenmara. An orca, a seal, a lighthouse, windmills, houses, trees, a highland cow and standing stones.

✨Star of the Show✨ We looked at some stats from our demo shown at the recent Glasgow Indie Games Festival and this wee pal was the most popular object placed in your still life scenes! 🍄
A 4x4 photo collage of crops from some different still life artworks made in our latest demo. They all feature a popular object used in many scenes - a mushroom figurine with a happy face. Many different colours in the different images but the mushroom is mainly coloured red with white spots and black arms/legs.

Drop in and Play was great, lots of kids played our new (wip) game which is always fun! Watched people make some pretty and silly things and got some helpful feedback 🦕🍄🥣 #indiegames #indiedev #art #dca

A screenshot from the game PHOGS! It has a primarily pink/purple palette and is a shot of a mattress/pillow fort with a starry sky. There's a blue bear and a moth playing a guitar. There's also a "glorb" in the foreground - a big while glowing ball with a cute happy face on it that rolls around. And the titular phogs - two orange fuzzy dog heads connected with a stretchy wiggly body in the middle.A screenshot from the game PHOGS! It's a bright sunny daytime scene. Some "farmers" with hats made of different foods are chilling out on pillows on bright green grass. There's a giant corn on cob in the middle and the phogs (described in the last photo) are breathing fire onto it to create giant popcorn.A screenshot from the game Tray Racers! There is a big sleeping creature with it's tongue out, it's yellowy orange with darker spots. There are multiple characters hanging around it holding their boards for downhill sledding and they are two robots and two desert foxes.A screenshot from the game Tray Racers! A night time pink/purple scene with a starry sky, a large try in the background and a busted up old caravan. In the foreground characters (humans and a desert fox) are around a campfire playing different instruments (pan pipes, bongo, guitar)

Thought I should post the vinyl art I designed for this forever ago, it's been a while since I thought about it so it's nice to be reminded with the soundtrack finally being available to stream :D. It was really fun, I love that we did the day/night full art both sides 🌞😴 #art #games #ost
A vinyl sleeve sitting on a vinyl player sitting on a wooden unit.

The front artwork for the original soundtrack from the video game PHOGS!, a 2d illustration filled with lots of the fun characters from the game including the yellow phogs (two happy dog heads connected with a long stretchy, wiggly body) with their red and blue collars, a few hidden "boingles" which are tiny blue creatures with 2 legs, one eye and a little pink/yellow/blue point on there heads. Also, a very colourful wizard with a star wand flying in the sky, a purple guy with berries on his head playing an acoustic guitar (one of the boingles is hidden in the guitar), some big speakers playing music, and a big smiling sun in the sky. This is the back of the sleeve, it has a night time scene contrasting the sunny party scene on the front in the first photo. The majority of colours are pink and purples apart from the yellow phogs and stars. The sun is lower in the sky and sleeping, there's a couple of planets in the sky, a flying bird with a lamp head, a squishy shaped castle at the bottom half with a boingle in one of the windows. Clouds, and other bits and pieces like a giant book and a couple of pillows. This is a close up shot of the actual vinyl record, it's made of mostly clear pvc but with a kind of splat of pink/blue mixed in coming from the middle. The sticker in the centre is half a phog that looks like it's coming out of the hole in the centre and swirling around with a couple of characters and objects from the game. This is one side of the inner sleeve for side A with the songs listed. It's blue and white, and there's a big yellow phog body wigging around and a couple of little decorations like fruits and music notes.

Happy Pancake Day!!! 🥞🧑‍🌾✨
A farmer from phogs (they have purple skin, a round belly and big hands/feet with only 3 toes/fingers) with a very happy face and a blueberry for a hat, away to tuck into a giant stack of pancakes sitting on the ground in front of them. There's green grass and a pink and green leafy vegetables plant behind them as well as a brown wavey patterned wall.

I'm not good at captions but I made this and it was fun :) #b3d #blender #cafe
A 3D render of a cafe scene, warm colours, cozy vibes, cute minimal/chunky style. On the table there's an orange mug of coffee, a glass of chocolate milk, a battenburg cake and a millionaires shortbread. Square wooden table and stools, a skateboard under the table and a helmet on one of the stools, a menu on the wall, a plant in a pink pot that's made out of simple bumpy spherical shapes.

Especially wonderful to see a feature of Dundee's rare books collection, hosted by Local History at Central Library, on display alongside a new mural by local designer James Moorwood of @bitloomgames.bsky.social. Be sure to stop by to see all the gorgeous wee details in-person! 👀
A fragile looking book sits under glass. It shows a full colour print of 4 geisha's dressing for the day whilst a row of soldiers wait in the courtyard outside.A hand drawn character, with a crocodile head, places a book on a shelf. Sitting a top the shelf is a myriad of miniature characters and figures including a small character with antlers and small mouse-like character in a wheelchair.

Thank you to @curatorgeoff.bsky.social and the National Museum of Scotland team for sending us this awesome memento from the Game On exhibition, it was so much fun to be a part of it :)! and the pixel art Phogs are so cute 🎮🕹️
An info board that was next to our game phogs in the exhibition, it is also surrounded by a couple other cool phogs mementos we have in our little collection including a crocheted red and blue and a big scarf version of them!

The info board reads: "Ever wanted to play as a two-headed dog? Well now is your chance. In this multiplayer puzzle game, you need to work together to solve problems and move obstacles in a colourful and calmingly cosy landscape. Playing with a friend in cooperative mode or as a solo adventure, you need to help the hydra-headed dogs Red and Blue overcome the challenges in front of them.

Created as a novel new form of puzzle game based on a physics mechanism where gameplay objects act as they would in the real world, the Dundee-based Bit Loom Games has shown how you can combine imagination and creativity with science and problem-solving. Grab a friend and play together on the same controller or try and solve the puzzles with Red and Blue on your own."
