I keep forgetting to upload the schedule this week! Here, lemme fix that: - Wednesday, we sprayed down mobsters in 'Super Mario Eclipse' - Saturday, Altaïr snaps his neck on a pile of hay in 'Assassin's Creed' - Sunday, a chill, relaxing debate about shoes Have a great weekend! #vtuber #toontuber

Comparison between the old CPU (left) and new CPU (right). The size difference alone really helps visualize how crap the old motherboard was. LOKKIT THE DINKY LITTLE DUAL CORE!

Remember that crummy old underpowered laptop that I installed SteamOS on? Just snagged a replacement motherboard from a higher-tier model. AND IT WORKS!!!

Spent the last 3 days confused and laboring over how to configure a virtual machine of Windows so it DOESN'T run like diarrhea. ...then I randomly downloaded a tool pack, and I think it fixed the whole damn thing. I border the line between oopid and smrt.

I think I got the stream setup back up and running! I'll be doing some final tests to make sure. How 'bout we try doing a casual stream tomorrow to stress test everything. #vtuber #toontuber #twitch #stream

TLDR; back jacked up. Stream setup in shambles. Cancelling this weekend's streams. ALSO moving the movie night to next Friday. And in general, my stress is ENORMOUS. From issues both online and IRL. More details in the screen capped Discord announcements. Amyhoo, stay strong, everyperson! 💪

For more context: here's what the processor looks like running a 720p Twitch VOD and Discord. ....and the Twitch VOD has crashed 3 times.

DUDE. Remote Play on SteamOS is INSANE! This underpowered laptop could only do smooth Remote Play if I plugged it into Ethernet and prayed. With SteamOS, it's running great on WiFi!

Welp, the games probably run like ass, but the answer is YES! It CAN SteamOS!

Hmmm, come to think of it, I got an underpowered old HP laptop. No dedicated GPU, to my knowledge. But it DOES run on AMD chips. Possible? 🤔

Hey, apologies. I reposted this earlier. Well, false alarm. The machine's art is from an asset store, just had a filter added. The full banner art looks clean when uncompressed. The Loan Shark logo has nothing wrong, and even has a little "LS" on the hood, which is a nice detail. Oops. L for me.

031

Bit-B @bitb.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

Also, I honestly don't see any hints of the Loan Shark sign being AI. The $ symbols are correct. Shark looks fine. Cars don't look misshaped. On top of that, the car has a clear "LS" on top. Which obviously stands for "Loan Shark". That's a pretty clear little detail that I appreciate.

Bit-B @bitb.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

That post has corrections in it. The machine art IS from the "POLYGON: Ancient empire", pack on Synty Store. As for the game banner, the full picture shows the things on the right are poker chips. Not dice. And the lines look pretty clean when uncompressed. NO clue what the machine is though.

I've had the same phone case design for my last 4 phones. Tried a different one for the pixel 5 for a while, but it just didn't feel right in the hand.

010

Bit-B @bitb.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Trying out GrapheneOS, and I'm really liking it so far! It's a little fiddly. But for the added control over what I do & DON'T allow on my device, It's worth the effort. Not being perfect with the device security part, probably. But whatever. I mostly want a branch of Android with less AI trash.

Bit-B @bitb.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Time to jump to a new phone, and a different OS!

040

Bit-B @bitb.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

I was wondering why my phone's Bluetooth kept turning back on. Google, if I want it off, I want it to STAY off. Like, I don't turn off the TV expecting it to be back on by the next day. If I need it, I can turn it on myself. Who thought this was a good idea, and have they been committed yet?!

Bit-B @bitb.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

OH LORDY, we're watching this movie next Friday in the Discord. It's been a LONG time since I've seen it. I'm ready for some prime 90's cheese!

The art direction REALLY seems off with the "new" Starfox. I've always seen these characters as cartoony. The realism adds a level of uncanny to the whole thing. And it feels like they SHOULD be emoting more, but they're just not. Also, can we get some VA that sounds like lives are on the line???

Curious if anyone else has run into this. I bought a DVD boxset the other day. And a few of the discs have these lightly discolored blobs. It's kinda hard to see, but if you look close, this one's around the center, and branching out to the right. All the discs are readable, they're just weird.

Bit-B @bitb.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

Picked up a copy of The Mask on Bluray. The manufacturers named the disc after Dumb and Dumber by mistake. Either this is a sign of a bootleg, or a good ol' factory fuck up.

010

Bit-B @bitb.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

On my journey to back up my Blurays, I have come upon something horrid. An interlaced 1080p video. With 29.97fps. With double the framerate hidden within the interleaved fields. Despite Blurays fully supporting 59.94fps videos. I'm sure there's a reason. But WHYYY????
