Been inevitably seeing a lot of commercials that use genAI and all it does is tell me they make cheap and harmful shortcuts at least somewhere within the company. Goes without saying, but that’s not a good way to advertise. 🤣

They’re something for me to look forward to for whenever I return to streaming. 😁 Sadly I don’t just have to finish rigging their model, but also make the entirety of my new one 🫣

Day 3: Plants "Haha mortal. You thought the void had no cactus. But here is the void, and clearly, there is a cactus." 【 #WE_GOT_Inktober_AT_HOME | #inktober 】

A potted cactus with strange bright green colouration sits idle in a bright pot with "VOID CACTUS" drawn on it. There are a few oddly coloured bright green weeds surround it, all of which are probably floating as well.

Day 2: Flame Haven't drawn my familiar enough yet. Their name is Biskon! They're an unusual flame spirit who's partially taken on a fox form. I think a key part of my sensibility is held within them, instead of me. 【 #WE_GOT_Inktober_AT_HOME | #inktober 】

A drawing of Biskon, BiscuitSlash's familiar of sorts. They appear to be a bright purple fireball with small fox ears, nose, whiskers and little paws.

Day 1: Memories Entire worlds are captured on discs, creating worlds of memories for many people. Drew a handful of things from games I look back on really well. Trying out a sketchy style, teaching myself to not spend too long when time limits exist. 【 #WE_GOT_Inktober_AT_HOME | #inktober 】

A large disc floats and shines with things from various video games on it. A rough outline sketch of the new design for BiscuitSlash happily floats next to it.

Thanks! I’ll get that checked. You can probably tell I’m relatively new to Librewolf 😅

Wow I had no idea, but that explains a lot! Thanks! ☺️

So has anyone had a #BlueSky problem of photos you upload to your posts being turned into a glitchy mess? This is a problem for me drawing and posting every day this month. Is this one of those very rare kinks with Linux? Or Librewolf? 🤔

Very true. Game Grumps has gotten so much better since Jon left and I’m happy that the fanbase has matured enough that I can freely say that without getting publicly roasted. Arin and Dan have said they have no intention of collaborating with Jon for anything. They want nothing to do with him.

Here I go! Hope I do well! 😁 Will be really good practice so I wanna try my absolute best with it!

Getting close to October and I haven’t seen many “draw each prompt thing each day” things so I dunno if I’m gonna have the means to ready myself in time. 🫣 How to most people find a prompt list they resonate with?

BiscuitSlash 🦊🍪🔥 @biscuitslash.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Calling it now, they'll make an effort to make it look cleaner on the surface and not fix most of the actual problems it has. Microslop isn't winning me back.

If I took more commissions on art, it could get me more financially stable which means consistent access to HRT and I won’t go short on food. Right now I’m almost as flat as a chopping board. Transitioning is much slower with minimal money to spare. 😭

110

BiscuitSlash 🦊🍪🔥 @biscuitslash.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Realising that in my specific case, making more art for people could mean I end up with bigger boobs. It’s quite the motivator! 🤭

BiscuitSlash 🦊🍪🔥 @biscuitslash.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I feel this very often. For a long time I've leaned towards just replying to things of interest and on very rare occasion reposting. Don't ever think you're the problem when it comes to social media. Even the best of them are designed in ways that suck. Most who are seen here grew elsewhere.

110

BiscuitSlash 🦊🍪🔥 @biscuitslash.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Thinking maybe I should try my luck with those challenges where I have to draw something within a theme and post each day for a whole month. Could be good practice it it’s a lot of pressure 🫣

A few weeks ago I sent Hoyoverse an email asking for an AI disclosure about #GenshinImpact specifically, for both AI that has been used and will be used in the near future. They've been oddly silent. 🤔 Confirming that they don't would maybe make me return to the game but nevermind I guess. 🤷‍♀️

BiscuitSlash 🦊🍪🔥 @biscuitslash.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Especially in games like Silent Hill where you’re not playing as someone with a lot of action experience. Harry’s just some guy who’s out of his depth. The devs clearly knew this and made the controls more accurate to the character. Less scary and immersive without them.

About to resume rigging soon and any new knowledge about the software would be appreciated!

I know it's the least important of the issues with #Twitch, but streams I've never even glanced at appearing in the "Continue Watching" section really bothers me. Why even have the section at all at that point? 😖

BiscuitSlash 🦊🍪🔥 @biscuitslash.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Just remembered a time where we called them "smilies" instead of "emojis". Anyway I liked how the Ocarina of Time remake looked and I don't get the hate. Matter of preference though, I get it. If you wanted something to hate then the english dub voices are right there. 😓

I’ll probably never notice the difference between 1080p and 4K textures but I’ll sure as hell notice an unusually large file size. Game devs shouldn’t need reminders that the average hard drives have barely increased in size this past decade.

I’ve honestly never seen such a huge blunder from any game console company like this before. It’s genuinely impressive. Their downfall seems inevitable. Literally no reason to get the PS6 at this rate. 🤷‍♀️

They’d be so pissed if we started sending photos of us all dangling our physical discs in front of them and having the time of our lives playing them. Would love to see it become a trend! I’d certainly take part!

Really wanna go back to streaming but I wanna wait until I have a new model made, but there’s other rigs I gotta do first so it’s gonna be a while. 🤔 Maybe if I made myself a low-poly 3D model first I’d be a good way of jumping back into it? It’s a lot quicker and easier to be honest 🤷‍♀️

Also thank you @crashsune.bsky.social for your low-poly modelling tutorials! I went from having never used Blender to doing this in about a week and I would never have guessed it could be this easy! If anyone has any interest in 3D modelling, I highly recommend these tutorials!

Recently gotten into #LowPoly 3D modelling. Nearly done with my first model! Just needs shading and rigging. I modelled Harissa from #DuelistsOfEden, a game by @thomasmoonkang.bsky.social. I chose Megaman Legends as the style and I think it's accurate! Maybe I'll do this for #VTubers soon? 👀

A low-poly model of the character Harissa from the game Duelists of Eden. The model is built in a similar style to the characters in Megaman Legends for the PS1. Harissa has a giant paintbrush by the side of her and very long multicoloured hair, as well as a mostly silver suit of armour. There's a signature on the lower right by the artist, BiscuitSlash.

Since Twitch are all too keen on feeding people’s hard work to a slop machine and blocking out trans rights tags, I’ll be open to any small alternative platforms when I return to streaming in a few months. Unless they get their shit together, which let’s be real… 🙄 #FuckGenAI #TransRights #Twitch

BiscuitSlash 🦊🍪🔥 @biscuitslash.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Eww, they’re getting AI engineers involved with something as well? Starting to wonder if me learning how to draw full models with advanced L2D rigs is actually what’s best for me. For now it might be fine, but this ground might start crumbling. 🫣

I think I’ve just had an uncontrollable urge to create for almost as long as I can remember. Artforms such a drawing have always been a tough one for me to do, but I’ve never given up, as they’re outlets for me to get my ideas out there. Finally reaching a point where I enjoy the process more!

I’ve always had very limited amounts of models to rig so it’s only ever been one at a time if any, but lately I’ve been learning how to draw the models as well. I’ve been wondering if I should wait until this first one is done before making a start on a second model. The second will be my own. 🤔
