It's still a skill I wish I had in my repertoire, but the learning curve is so steep that I've kind of given up. For me it's been better to focus on lotion and sunscreen. Not sure across different generations, and it might just be my friends, but everyday makeup isn't actually too common among us

I always thought I would figure it out for the big occasions in my life (graduations, bdays, vacations) but the most I've managed is lipgloss and mascara, or v rarely, eyeliner. The one time a friend put a full beat on me, it looked textured and odd, plus was a pain to get off.

🎉it's publishers weekly official! if you like: • revenge heists • boston setting • parties, exclusive clubs • affirmative action convos • and as my agent described it: "a protagonist who makes bad decisions for all the right (& wrong!) reasons" then this might be for you
Viking Steals Debut Heist Novel

Nidhi Pugalia at Viking has acquired world rights to Too Pretty to Lie, the debut novel from Ethiopian American writer Birukti Tsige. Jennifer March Solo-way at Andrea Brown Literary brokered the deal. Viking said the book is a “heist-revenge novel” in the vein of Portrait of a Thief that follows “gorgeous hustler Chernet as she infiltrates the Harvard elite to steal from the sons and daughters of the rich and powerful.” A publication date has not yet been announced.
