"Do you know who Mario Casas is?" I was recording at a gym in Madrid on when the owner asked me this. Mario is an award winning Spanish film and TV actor. We both love boxing. If you're passionate about your passion, you'll find yourself in the right place at the right time. Onward!

It's a bird...it's a plane...it's Scott Rigby! Could be Helm, could be Flux, could be co-organizing KCD New York or coming down to KCD Guatemala where I'll be in June, Scott has got so many community things going on I don't know how he keeps track of it all. Onward!

Meeting @kube.fm guests like Miguel in real life is always great fun. After 5 seasons of the podcast, we've spoken to people from all over the world who offer the community something unique. Check out his approach to observability from the birdwatcher's perspective- youtu.be/POw0SpgWKNQ?...

Yesterday I met Yawan in Bungamati, Nepal — he’s 18, visually impaired, and wants to learn to code to build tools for others like him. What are the best dev resources for the visually impaired? Asking for a friend, and this time for real!

With the buzz of 12,500 people in the same place, it's hard to get quality time with the folks we love. I was in the right place at the right time to see @dlectronique.bsky.social who was been my conference ADHD "Accountabilibuddy" with another amazing superstar @hannahfoxwell.net. #kubecon

Sharing is caring, even if it means Rob Koch letting Milad Vafaeifard borrow his imaginary gun. They showed me how they explain films in sign language, and let's see if you can guess which one Milad is imitating here! #kubecon

SREs: not all traffic drops are outages. Sometimes it’s Diwali. Or the World Cup. @rootly.com's digging into that with LLMs- check out what their Head of Devrel @sylvainkalache.bsky.social had to say about it at KubeCon.

If it weren't for this amazing, resilient human, I never would have attended a KubeCon. Nothing but love for Ihor and what he stands for. So happy I ran into him on Friday when the event ended. Onward!

KubeCon happens quickly- I got to speak to @jonobacon.bsky.social for just enough time to get a few pictures in. When I started in community work in the cloud native ecosystem in 2020, it took me far too long to learn about Jono which would have saved me a great deal of time & confusion!

KubeCon gives us many reasons to celebrate, and Carla Gaggini's birthday is one of them! Working hard at the booth, making sure every detail is taken care of to support her team, she's always doing it with class and pizzazz. Happy Birthday Carla! #kubecon
