hey when geese etc. are flying in close formation and flapping do you think they ever slap each other’s wing tips and it’s a little awkward

Ice goofin (Canada Goose, Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary)

A single Canada Goose stands on a sheet of ice on a small pond, which is starting to melt in the foreground. The goose is on more stable ground, standing with its head tall. A sign is visible in the foreground of the photo which says “DANGER THIN ICE KEEP OFF”.

One Coldette (Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary)

A Canada Goose sits on clear and reflective ice in a frozen-over marsh. The goose faces forward and looks slightly to the side of the camera, and it rests on the ice with its feet tucked under its body. There is a mirror-like reflection of the goose's chest on the ice below it.

A Scarlet Tanager seen last summer. We were just finishing our walk on a trail when I looked up and saw this beautiful bird in front of me. It posed for a bit while it watched me :3

A zoom shot of a Scarlet Tanager perched on a thin branch of a tree. It is a small and vibrant red bird with black wings. It is facing to the right, but has turned its head to look toward the camera.

i'm thinking about putting bird pics I or my partner take here on this account! So for posterity, here's the photo I'm setting as my profile, a Blue Crane we saw at the ICF on a rainy day in Baraboo, WI.

A Blue Crane stands in an enclosure at a crane preservation organization. Colors are muted from overcast skies. The crane stands among tall grasses balanced on one leg, while its other leg is lifted to scratch the underside of its head. This makes it look as though the crane is posing in a ponderous moment.
