Come attack me on #artfight: artfight.net/~Bird-brained I've got Signalis OCs, birds (OCs and pets), anthros, and more. I'm most inclined to draw birds and other reptiles, I'm confident with most animals, but I hope to gain confidence with humanoids and draw some Replikas too!

An Art Fight team card. Text: "TEAM Tragedy
User: Bird-brained
I attack: BIRDS! Most nonhumans, perhaps some Replikas.
I do Friendly Fire and Revenges, I do multi-character interactions attacks but not mass attacks?
I have human, feral, anthro, and semi-mech OCs, plus my pet budgies and a Toyhouse link"

On the top left, is Minty, a feathered off-white dragon with a gray face mask. On the top right are two budgies, Odin and Zoey.

On the bottom row is Zindel (an anthro platybelodon), Bronco (a Rockwell OV-10 Bronco aeromorph), Phoenix and Ice (feral grouselike birds), Schwarzvogel and Efeu (Star and Arar Replika units), and Faden and Säbel (Eulr and Star Replika units).

This took a slightly ungodly amount of time, but finally!! My Arar, Efeu as The World!! #signalis

A tarot card, text: "THE WORLD"

A muted gray Arar unit sways and walks away from the viewer, her Atlas and Axis vertebrae are highlighted in blue. She is surrounded by a wreath of English Ivy. A Pacific Parrotlet sits on her shoulder, and in each corner, a different animal crawls: a Brown Rat, a Promethia Silkmoth, a Hardhead Catfish, and a Mediterranean House Gecko.

Shes uh. Coming along. I made a lot of choices with this one, most of them questionable, but I still really like this so far

I'll delete this later but I need to share some of my woes. This is the Tarot I'm doing for my Arar, there's still a fish and a parrot to add too. I got a little too intricate with her lol. Can anyone tell what card this is meant to be?

First of hopefully at least 4 Tarot cards with my #Signalis OCs. This is Schwarzvogel with The Moon.

A tarot card, text: "THE MOON"

A muted gray Star unit with yellow bands stands in front of a cobblestone wall. She is flanked by 2 storks with exaggeratedly long necks. To the left is a Saddle-billed Stork preening her hair, on the right is a White Stork, offering Schwarz an unwell European Starling. Behind the wall is a stylized ocean with an ocean bunker on the left, the moon (waning crescent to some degree) in the center, and an Il-18-inspired cargo plane to the right.

Drew my Yi Qi OC after a long while. She's an entomologist pursuing a Master's degree because I love the genera of "feral characters with very human occupations".

An illustration of a small dinosaur leaping and gliding. Her body is covered in a mix of protofeathers and simple feathers. She has wing-like forelimbs with webbing, covered halfway in protofeathers. She is primarily green with a black mask and feather edges on her limbs, and with a yellow bill and tail.

Experimental piece I'm pretty proud of. World's most degraded STAR unit with her geese #signalis

A yellow and gray STAR unit, Säbel, struts forward, waving her right hand back at her 3 orphaned Snow Geese. One Snow Goose is a darker "Blue" morph, the other two are white. They are walking towards a roofed structure, and there's a grassy field and the ocean behind them.

Also working on updating these two. Spruce needs more work, but both should have quite a glowup sometime. #ocart #birdart

On the left, stands Spruce, a blue-gray bird with a sage-grouse tail and gray lacing on her feathers, as well as feathered zygodactyl feet, a bare face, and a thick hooked bills. On the left, stands Phoenix, a pheasant-like bird with a dark-edged facial disk, crow-like bill, long blue-edged tail feathers, and pale anisodactyl feet.

Here I'll post these. Doodles of my #Signalis OCs in Drawception. Fun site and I've been doodling on for years. Palettes are all custom and linked in alts.

Star unit (Säbel) louging and holding up a cool ass sword. The Quixotic Palette: https://drawception.com/forums/palettes/54490/the-quixotic-palette/

Star Unit (Schwarzvogel) looking at a crudely drawn SR-71 Blackbird. In her dreams. Punch of Yellow Palette: drawception.com/forums/palettes/58016/punch-of-yellow/

Eule Unit (Faden) waving and pushing aside a medical curtain. Clouds and a simplistic screech owl fly off to the left of her. Lavendar Menace palette: https://drawception.com/forums/palettes/63144/lavender-menace

Ara unit (Efeu) wrapped in ivy with a Scarlet Macaw crawling around her back. She's in a nice tropical greenhouse or something. Prehistoric Carrot Palette: https://drawception.com/forums/palettes/63056/prehistoric-carrot

Here is my STARAR couple as silly little birds! #birds #birdart #signalis

A European Starling and Pacific Parrotlet snuggled together, sleepy.

A Pacific Parrotlet gently clamps down on the bill of a European Starling, who is briefly startled, but looking art the parrotlet with fondness nonetheless.

Hopefully this looks better on Bluesky. Here are my other main #signalis characters, neither of them are named yet (I've been using various stupid fill-ins). Happy to take name suggestions for Eule cadre themes and non-WWII military vehicles.

A EULR unit from Signalis in a silly and graceful strut next to a STAR unit with poor, awkward posture. They have muted palettes with yellow stripes where the base game units have red.

Fuck it actually, here's the basic references I have for the ARAR+STAR I've been drawing/writing a bunch about. The Ara is Efeu/"Ivy", and the Star is Schwarzvogel/"Blackbird" (translated literally and based on the plane which shouldn't be translated but she's a little silly).

I keep thinking I should post here more! Here's my last piece of 2025 and first of 2026, gay birds of 2 varieties. Been very Signalis obsessed for a minute especially. Perhaps I should post my other Signalis art here. And my other bird art.

2 signalis replikas kissing each other. One is an ARAR unit, the other is a STAR unit. They both have more muted/soft palettes than in-game.

I should actually post here shouldn't I. I do like this site! Currently obsessed with Animal Jam. Here is my main on there, Crashing Bravebird. What a creature. #animaljam #birdart #oc

A mostly gray and cream falcon dressed in a brown aviator hat, green collar with cream wings, and a gray plaid shirt. She is standing straight and looking forward. She is not heavily marked, but has green and black swirls on her chest, as well as green tail and wingtips. Transparent background.

I made a Black Rail in Powerpoint. Not at all what I typically do but I like her. #birdart #rail #blackrail #bird

A lineless illustration (if you can call powerpoint art that) of a Black Rail (based on the Central Valley Subspecies) taking flight. It is a charcoal-gray bird with a brown mantle, white spots across the back, and a striking red eye.

Right. I've been following people but I haven't posted yet. Probably won't post very often but here's a stale piece of some my most beloved #OriginalCharacters for the sake of showing some of my interests. #OC #BirdOc #Avian #WlW #LesbianBirds

A pair of birds in warm lighting leaping into an airborne embrace, their plumes intertwining. The upper character, Phoenix, is a crow-billed and primarily orange bird with a black-bordered white facial mask and bluish shoulders. She is partially obscured by her mate, Ice, who is in front of her. Ice is a thick-billed, bare-faced bird of blue-gray color with purplish back stripe that transitions into a lacing pattern, and her tail ends in sharp points like a grouse's.
