Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 04/06/2026My Pollyanna shirt came in! I couldn't resist when I saw it online. 😅 040
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 03/04/2026It's been a while since I've archived MOTHER material, huh? Here's the Surefire Strategy Book, one of the few #EarthBound #MOTHER2 guidebooks containing unique drawings (to my knowledge). archive.org/details/sure... 142
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 11/03/2026This list will probably change if I get the chance to play more games I've been eyeing, but for now, here are some of my favorite games! 120
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 15/01/2026Yesterday, I finally watched the animated film Look Back. When the film debuted in 2024, a pen pal from Japan brimmed with enthusiasm as he recommended it to me, though there was a wait before it became available to American viewers. Now that I've seen it, I, too, would like to offer my endorsement. 132
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 29/12/20254 games that defined my 2025 I promise that I play games that aren't SNES RPGs. 010
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 18/12/2025@clydemandelin.bsky.social Sorry to bother you again so soon. While re-reading through my copy of your book on EarthBound, I reencountered this trivia about "everyone having their own Magicant". Would you happen to remember the source of this? I was unable to track it down online. 110
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 24/10/2025For months, I've been moseying through the discography of the Kinks at the encouragement of @mcthrillington.bsky.social. I've at last finished and have composed according to personal preference. Remarkably, there's not a single dud among them, and even the lowest albums have something to admire. 021
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 28/09/2025If you haven't already watched it, I recommend Frost and Lynch's brief sitcom "On the Air", as Dick's actor Ian Buchanan plays a starring role. Truth be told, much of the humor didn't click with me, but it's undoubtedly an interesting watch, and I'm confident a second season would have been amazing. 120
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 28/09/2025This man was there for me during the dark times of Season 2. 🙏 110
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 14/09/2025Someone must have liked Julian because he alone has a shadow 110
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 31/08/20259) The 1989 Batman film. Like Popeye (1980), its set design is astonishing. I can't get enough of the unique atmosphere that comes from the suave combo of smoggy, old-school noir and then-modern pop art. The movie has Nicholson and Prince--need I say more? 000
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 30/08/20258) Godzilla. (🤯) Back in eighth grade, while recovering from an illness that nearly took me, I watched the very first Godzilla film. It's a harrowing story that broke my heart, becoming an enduring memory. Since then, I've watched every live-action Godzilla movie. These three are my favorites. 100
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 30/08/20257) Twin Peaks, thanks to @catblackard.bsky.social's encouragement. Out of all of America's television shows, it can perhaps stand the tallest on the global stage. What most keeps me Return-ing to the world of Twin Peaks is the fleshed-out cast that brings so many different "flavors" to the town. 110
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 30/08/20256) I've come down with Shibuya-kei fever. It's not just a genre of music; it's an artistic movement that was trending in 90s Japan. Hard to explain succinctly, but it's often a collage of 1960s music genres filtered through hip-hop and house techniques to create an international sound... kinda. 100
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 27/08/20255) The MOTHER series, of course! I got hooked on the games back around 2011 and lurked on Starmen, but it was not until recent years that I became active in the fandom. And yeah, the series heavily altered the trajectory of my life, and I've met many incredible people as a result. 220
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 26/08/20254) A recent fixation, the 1980 Popeye film. @echoesn64.bsky.social is responsible for this one. The jaw dropping film set, the catchy songs, the laid-back pace, and the spot-on performances are all reasons why I adore the film. I want to visit Popeye Village, and enjoy more Popeye media. 131
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 26/08/20253) This is a big one. When I was in elementary school, I was OBSESSED with the Ice Age movies. I owned every tie-in book and toy I could find; the series was practically my religion. Nowadays, I can't enjoy the films a third as much as I did, but my admiration for the art direction endures. 120
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 26/08/20252) Jellyfish. This is another interest that was sparked by a film; in this case, Finding Nemo. Every time I go to an aquarium, I make a beeline for any jellyfish exhibits. They're a perfect example of how "otherworldly" aquatic life can feel. I'm still stunned by their lack of brains or hearts. 110
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 26/08/20251) Moai. Ever since watching--of all things--"Night at the Museum" on the silver screen, I've been enamored with these mysterious statues. I lost my mind upon spotting a replica in a museum, and even owned a mini moai set for a time. To this day, visiting the isle of Rapa Nui is a dream of mine. 110
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 23/08/2025Next week, I'll be holding streams of @mothershewrote.bsky.social's "Teddy episode", featuring a high-quality drama of his goings-on before he joined the party. NO past experience with the podcast is needed to enjoy this episode! Join us in the World of MOTHER Discord server! discord.gg/SJCmCyCCKw 093
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 07/08/2025Over 13 years have passed and this is still the crown jewel of Zelda dungeons. 230
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 30/07/2025Neither M1 or M3 fans have done something like this, which just goes to show the superiority of EarthBound. 🧐 Go Bound or go frown 450
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 13/07/2025During the production of the one-of-a-kind 1980 film "Popeye", actress Shelley Duvall (who played Olive Oyl) ran a newspaper called the Falconette Gazette. It contains bits of gossip, event announcements, newspaper clippings, and more. And now, I've publicly archived it. archive.org/details/falc... 183
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 26/06/2025If you like Fateswakening, it's (almost) all uphill exploring the other entries. (Please play SNES Emblem) 110
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 05/05/2025Keiichi Suzuki, who co-composed MOTHER 1 and 2, is also the frontman of a band that's been around since the 1970s. They're called the Moonriders, and I've recently gone through their discography. Arranged by personal preference, here's my tier list of their studio albums and some of their EPs. 031
Biozilla @biozilla.bsky.social · 03/05/2025And now for something different from what I normally archive. This is "The Ultimate Guidebook to Twin Peaks", and it's chock-full of essays on #TwinPeaks, interviews with some of the Japanese dub actors and other celebrities, and episode guides (and many other things). archive.org/details/the-... 030
