Excited I can finally talk about my plans, now that they’ve come to fruition. Jayce’s birthday was in the middle of the week, so we couldn’t really do too much to celebrate. So I thought it would be nice to have a little party with our friends on the weekend.

Also you know I love this man to death because I got up early while he was at the gym to make breakfast, and there are even vegetables in it. 🙄 Don’t get too used to that.

He tried his best, but I regret to report that it was less of a massage and more just him groping my foot for like an hour. Rio was definitely a little jumpy and not in the mood for cuddling, but I think she handles the fireworks like a champ. She’s doing much better now.

I don’t know if I can treat my own health issues with magic. There’s still so much for us to learn; that’s what’s so exciting about it. Right now we’re trying to limit using ourselves as test subjects, since we’re unsure about side effects, but down the road, who knows?

Favorite ability we’ve discovered so far and the one I most want to master is healing. I’m in bio medicine because I want to help people with health issues improve their quality of life. Being able to do that instantly would be incredible. Right now I can’t do much, but maybe that could change?

I do still love him. I’ll forgive him, eventually. This won’t be the end for us. But it sucks to be treated like I can’t make my own decisions. AGAIN. After I explicitly explained how hurtful it was the first time. It makes it hard to trust that this pattern won’t keep repeating.

And then he makes me feel like an asshole for being mad at him. I know he’s not doing it on purpose, but when I get upset and he starts pouting and acting like a kicked puppy, it feels like I’m the jerk even though he’s the one that kept things from me and I know my frustration is justified.

I was so on edge the entire time that I barely even remember what happened. I’m sure he was stressed out too, but he should have just talked to me about it. Isn’t that the point of all this? Having someone you can go to when something is bothering you?

Honestly? I’m really frustrated with Jayce right now. Our last - and really our only - big fight was about him taking away my autonomy and making decisions for me. He knows how much I hate that. And then he intentionally keeps information from me to make me attend something he knew I wouldn’t like.
