When you reach out, the recommendation is to focus on one issue, keep it brief, personalize the call/letter (noting that you are a constituent), and being courteous but firm. Post widely on social media and write op-eds
If you attended the op-ed webinar in the fall or wrote one as part of the Politzer travel award, please think about sending one to your local paper! Also, please share your support of NSF on social media and use the hashtags #WithoutNSF #WithoutNSFsbe, or #WithoutScience
