There is no moment more satisfying than using a clean toilet in the fabric districts in Los Angeles. I will tip for this privilege.

I think there are few things more cruel than a half mile hike to get to your airport terminal. I’m showered. I’ve probably already done my work out. I should not have to exert at this level to then go sit on the damn plane for…11 hours /:(

Evangelion has been living rent free in my head since the late 90s and I wanted to pay homage to one of my favorite scenes from one of the films. This was shot at ALA. Here’s @binkx.bsky.social as Ritsuko, @coffeetan.bsky.social as Misato and Mike as Kaji. #cosplay #cosplayphotography

An edited cosplay photo depicting cosplayers as characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion. There of my friends are dressed as Ryoji Kaji, Ritsuko Akagi and Misato Katsuragi. They are shown looking upward, witnessing a destructive scene standing on the ruins of their base.

A collage of four photos showing how I edited the photo.

This is the scene we are referencing from the first image. We Misato and Ritsuko looking to the sky as a destructive event takes place.

Seriously, a more perfect special does not exist. When they’re all in the crowd being like ‘hey, join our army’ and the children are CRYING and the moms are like ‘immediately’.

The PGSM live concert where the Generals terrorize the audience and play a child’s piano will live in my mind forever.

I need to take a moment every few years to remember how absolutely phenomenal Atia of the Julii is in HBO’s Rome and how screamingly thrilled I was to see her actress, Polly Walker, in Bridgerton as yet another banger of a mom. I love her. I would lose my mind to meet her.
