I want to post art on twitter -> what if nobody cares and I consider it worthless... even worse, what if people actually like it? And then people have expectations for me? -> doesn't post art -> sees everyone else posting and having fun. Repeat

Sometimes I see my art as a treasure only available to the people I like or as an exchange. Other times I feel bad for pushing it onto people, as it's like someone is forced to have an opinion on it. I like hearing others opinions on objective art like realism. With anything else tho... 🫠

Despite anybody else's perceived art faults, loving others art is so easy. Why is wanting people to see my art so difficult? 'Hoarding' is what one person called it.

Everyone is still so kind and has always been kind. It's just I don't want to rely on kindness. I want objectivity where there is none. There's no objectivity in art. You grab the utensil however you can and start scribbling.

I know it's far better to be thoughtless about it and just do it. But I've thought for so long on my own that it's what I find comfort in. I think I became encouraged at first because people who were kind to me liked it and I had no bad opinion on my work.

If I started over again, would people care? How long would it take? Would it ever happen again? I know it was a lot to do with the circumstances. The person I liked also liked my work and people respected that persons opinion. But that person has been gone for a while. Are they ever coming back?

That's why I haven't posted in a long while. People are gonna think whatever they're gonna think. There's no controlling that. It's just... I want to. What I really wanna do is let go. I still think of myself as a fraud.

I find situations like these so funny. They make me want to break the ice first because wow you're just like me for real. But I haven't had a situation like this in a while. Part of growing up...sigh... I think it makes me a narcissist too. Because I always want to live w the other person afterwards
