an update on the quantum campus development, per its board meeting: -Partnership with Lake Effect Development to create some 50 homes on vacant lots near the quantum site -Hiring underway for the 750 IBM jobs for the site, with a commitment to hire a third through a City Colleges program

Since the Obama Presidential Center was announced 10 years ago, home prices in Woodlawn have skyrocketed. Residents have long warned that lower-income neighbors could be priced out. In 2020, Chicago launched a plan to slow displacement in the area. But it's fallen short. bit.ly/4npRZDS
