They call it "the festival of th fantastic Film" I would not consider it fucked up, though.

Hope (KR 2026) by Na Hong-Jin This one I actually hated. Great first hour (that is the majority of the trailer) that is ruined by continuing 100 minutes of an overstuffed overindulgent mess of a movie with inconsistent unlikeable characters, jokes and action scenes that overstay their welcome.

Hotspring Shark Attack 2: Great Kyushu Showdown/ Onsen Shark 2 Kyushuu Daikessen (JP 2026) by Morihito Inoue Forget Sharknado. This manages to be super over the top ridiculous but still earnest. We have a giant Mecha King Onsen Shark. A cute boi called Colombre and a constantly flexing beefcake.

Never after dark (JP 2026) by Dave Boyle. Interesting premise with lots of potential that manages gets way too convoluted while staying very basic. Love the cinematography. The movie loves dolly push ins.

Another world (HK 2025) by Tommy Kai Chung Ng. A beautiful animated movie that loves beating down on its characters and punishes them for having genuine reactions to ludicrous Levels. It goes to the point where a shocking reveal looses all it's meaning because the suffering never ends

Bernhard Binder @binder-bernhard.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Colony (KR 2026) Yeon Sang-Ho An interesting take on the Zombie Genre, that kind of looses itself in plot convenience. I did like it, but I didn't like the ending. More slimy than gory

So here is what I have seen @slashfilmfestival.bsky.social this weekend. Mini review in the comments Colony Another World Never after Dark Jim Queen Hotspring Shark Attack 2 Hope

I'm not against VR games... I just don't care for VR games, sonic not even mad. I am just against it being on Meta.

It makes no sense to pay customs for the comps to begin with. If you collaborate with someone and they send you their art in the mail, do you pay customs for that too?

110

Bernhard Binder @binder-bernhard.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Wow. Great. It seems like they want us to not like them

Bernhard Binder @binder-bernhard.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

And next week the slash film festival starts.

Bernhard Binder @binder-bernhard.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I saw it today and I was laughing a lot. This was definitely the most fun horror movie i have seen this year. But the following two weeks will be stacked with some more horror movies

110

Bernhard Binder @binder-bernhard.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Are you planning to do a 24 hour comic?

110

Bernhard Binder @binder-bernhard.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

To pay customs for comp copies is kinda screwed. I only got one copy a few years ago. And it would have been cheaper for me if I went to mad titan and picked up a retail copy.

It depends on if I got me a flagship or a budget phone. Since phones got insanely expensive with little to no benefits, I will ride my current foldable for at least 4 years.

The money they threw away with nfts, AI and political donations (or bribes) could make the world a better place for everyone. They could have built schools, invested in science, renatured areas, protected life, even ended starvation. But no. We rather have wars, poverty and data centers

I'd say Yakuza is like comics, just try any one. If it hooks you, you'll seek out more.

Bernhard Binder @binder-bernhard.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Def some castlevanias like symphony, the GBA or DS titles. Arcade games like the metal slug series or bubble bobble. As far as Yakuza goes. Zero is canonically the first game. Kiwami is a remake of the first game or "Like a Dragon" (the 7th game) has a new protagoyabd a new gameplay system.
