Hello, #PortfolioDay! I'm a sound designer and audio engineer based in New Jersey. I am proficient in tools such as Wwise, FMOD, Unreal, and Unity, and I've recorded and mixed an orchestra that plays video game music. Snippets of my work are in the video below. Enjoy! #GameAudio youtu.be/T3Ah1TRCeb0

Samus gazing at the world. Funnily enough, I can't recall seeing any artwork that depicts Samus accompanied by an actual bird. #metroid #art

After a hard drive disaster last year I thought I'd lost this Metroid piece (original is proving elusive but it's at decently high res, at least)

New instrument, an Epiphone SG! I made some of my own modifications to it which was a journey. Now it's going on another journey with me as I strive to become a better musician.

The guitar front and center in a hallway with blue carpeting. The guitar is an Epiphone SG painted in matte black and is sitting on a stand.

Image of the guitar's strap button moved to a new location. The guitar is on top of a white Christmas tablecloth. The precision screw set is on top of the image. The strap button's old location is visible in this image but was later filled in.

Image of a guitar's headstock with the Metroid series' Screw Attack symbol painted on. The headstock is lying on aluminum foil with some of the dried white paint on it. On the top of the image is the mini roller used to paint the image. At the bottom left is the key used to open paint cans.

In other lighter news, I'm getting back into the swing of things by developing my own game, and I made a challenge to source the sound effects from those 1960s sound fx records, so I can modify them however I want, but they have to have come from those sfx. I think it'll be fun and interesting.

I have a way to see who unfriended me on Facebook right after I posted about my fears of what I can't control. Just wanted to say to that person thank you for taking out the trash.

It's staggering how one of the videos I had some involvement in - recorded and mixed - has 60k views on YouTube and it is still climbing. I'm still speechless everytime I check up on it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC8K...

I hope MAGFest does MAGLabs again. The cool thing about Labs is its focus on DIY workshops, and although the big MAGFest has those, the fact that it also offers everything else and you can only do so much in four days makes it very inconvenient to attend those workshops. Please bring back Labs!

Finally, the last day at MAGFest was spent saying my goodbyes to the friends I ran into, watching a panel about recording classical music (thank you @fundsounds.bsky.social, super informative!) and then finally partaking in the Metroid photo shoot. It's been fun #MAGFest, see you next year.

Did the #MAGFest Challenges last night into early morning. I actually did better this year than the last two years! Guess it helps that the controllers weren't broken.

Closest thing we're gonna get to a new game starring a certain Captain of falcons. And it's damn good. Highly recommended.

Hey there! For the new influx of followers I have gotten in the last week, I haven't forgotten about this side of the woods, but I have been trying to think about how to populate it. I am gonna try to migrate as much stuff from "the other site" with the coming weeks and then delete it. Stay tuned!
