I went for a walk with the Ricoh GRIII yesterday and took some snapshots. I have a roll of expired Fuji Sensia 400 in my big plastic Nikon SLR and I want to put a roll of Svema 100 in my Mamiya SLR and some Fujicolor 100 in my half frame. This feels like reading three novels simultaneously.

I'm playing around with a Mamiya 55 f/1.4 lens with thorium coating. It's yellowed in a way that is chill enough for my camera's (Sony a7cr) auto white balance to neutralize it, but still quite pleasant if left unchecked.

I'm trying to post my photos some to keep me doom scrolling. The two snowy photos are quite old. The one is with a Nikon D80 and the other was with a Panasonic GX-1. The flower photo is with a Nikon D90s using the standard 50 mm f/1.8 and using expired Kodak UltraMax 400.

I was cleaning out a closet (which I realize sounds inherently unlikely, but here we are) and found a 2011 Nikon CoolPix P7100. This is one of the "supposively" magical CCD cameras ("ackchyually" it's in the jpeg conversion). So here are some magical shots taken as jpegs like it's 2011.

A few more film photos. Kodak Tri-X. The old dog is the late Mighty Milo. It was nice to see him on the film when I got it developed. He passed away a month ago. His paw in the light is prescient.

A few more film photos (Kodak Gold 200) from the half-frame. I scratched the film when I loaded it and that left streaks across the negatives that I had to correct digitally. It only seemed to have happen on the color film. I left the marks on the last one as traces of the mechanical process.
