Give us, Lord Jesus, a passion;
not for seeking to impress those
who hold power, place and prestige
in the eyes of the world,
but a passion to seek and serve
the justice and truth of your kingdom,
to follow the leading of your Spirit,
to look to the revealing of your love
to all.
