I’m old enough to have served when the SECDEF was a picture on the wall at BN HQ and a name you had to memorize in the chain of command. Never saw one try to do a pull up, give a nazi-esque speech or get outrun at PT. I assume they were all doing actual SECDEF things and not performative BS.
