I don't think there'll be a video this week because mental health and life again. Next week is iffy, too, but in large part because I'm going to start seeing a new psychiatrist which will cause some rough times in the short term but should be REALLY useful in the long term!

Gonna be one or two more FFX2 episodes than I thought. I read that Via Infinito takes 1~2 hours to beat, but uh... I think that's if you run from all the unnecessary fights, and I don't :') At least I have an excuse to eat more marshmallows!

I just finished a whole episode in one day for the first time in MONTHS! Recorded, edited, thumbnailed, uploaded, descripted (yes I made that word up), and ready to go live in four hours! I'm not sayin' I'm fully back, but I'm at least somewhat back and it feels so good 😭

FFX-2, like FFX before it, is really unstable and there's no fixing it :') But also kind of yes, apparently, at least for this last episode! It didn't crash a single time, and I'm REALLY glad because there were no save spots or auto-saves for almost an hour and a crash would have destroyed me :')

I was gonna record but ended decluttering my SSD. Went from "you monster, how could you" levels of full to "*slaps roof* this bad boy can fit so many gigabytes" And now that all my programs and games are more stable and faster, the YouTubening can continue! (After sleep, of course)

This channel rebranding is turning into such a journey of self-discovery :') I was trying to understand why no drawing tutorial or book has made sense to me and I learned about dyspraxia and how many symptoms of it I have. Sucks not to have known, but now I know there are tools that can help!

It took 4 hours to record an episode of FFX2 because of crashes, green screens, and a surprise superboss as a random encounter in a dungeon, and I'm so brain broken I'm on the verge of tearing up Lesson learned, the overwhelm needs to be listened to even if I really want to work on a video

I've always wanted my channel to be a safe space for everyone (except bigots, they get booted) So when I was looking at other analytics and saw 97% of my viewers who list a gender are male, I was shocked The new major goal of the rebrand: Make the inclusivity clear. If I lose viewers, so be it🏳️‍🌈

Drawing practice tailored to ADHD and accompanying fine motor control problems is going well but is making me surprisingly sore! Six minutes of drawing lines using the little muscles it turns out I've never used properly and my arm was hurting in entirely new ways. Definitely gonna be a long process

The rebranding planning has begun! It's gonna involve more new art than planned with a BIG revamp of the Squirrell themself, so I'm starting some ADHD-friendly drawing exercises to get myself ready and finally improve my fine motor control issues^^ It'll take time but I'm RIDICULOUSLY excited!

I had energy to record a video, but then I had an OCD spiral that drained me. Sucks I couldn't record, but recognizing that I was spiraling, pulling myself out, and resting instead of making it worse by trying to push through is a HUGE mental health win and I'll take it^^

2) Honesty time, algorithm changes and outdated advice killed my channel growth months ago, and it's been really stressful and depressing. The rest of my FFX2 videos will see the start of some experimenting with thumbnails, titles, and intros to see what tweaks can help with future series^^

I was watching Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc when I posted that, but FFX-2 is definitely a magical girl game when I think about it 🤔 No transformations will be turned on, though. I want my enemies to stand around doing nothing, not have me suffer every few seconds :') And yeah, it's a rough anime

If treating yourself will help your mental health, it's definitely valid! Not TOO often, but if it helps, it helps^^ Also, a gentle reminder that there's TONS of SSRIs, finding the right one/dosage is a normal journey. Don't be afraid to tell your psychiatrist if one causes issues or isn't working!

Good news! (I think, unless something goes wrong again.) I'm pretty sure I found the root of the audio issues. After I spent hours last night overhauling my audio setup ._. Windows has a stupid setting that I have now turned off, and surprise upside, my new setup sounds a bit better than the last!
