This paragraph lol. Biological sex has never been binary. The binary system is an elementary teaching to get young kids to understand the basic mechanics of genetics. In reality, it’s much more complex.

Because biological sex is determined by which gamete an animal makes and there are two possible gametes-sperm or egg-many people consider biological sex to be a simple either-or binary, even if they accept that gender is not so simple. We will discuss the complexities of gender in the next chap-ter, but it turns out that there are problems with considering sex to be a pure binary as well, even if we use it to identify only which gamete an animal makes. At a minimum, there are three sexes because we can't forget about the hermaphrodites. If you thought that biological sex was a simple matter, buckle your seat belt, because this is going to be a bumpy chapter.

Wardrum has a lot of similarities to many of the roguelike games that are trying to be the next Slay the Spire. Structurally it’s already pretty similar but it does do some pretty unique things mechanically that makes it stand out

This game looks like just another deckbuilding roguelike at first. I wasn’t sure how much I was going to like it. I was certain I would just play it, shrug it off, and move on. But it’s pretty unique in how it handles combat.

This a game that kinda mixes Sifu with Hi Fi Rush There is licensed music in this game but there is a streamer mode available and the stream safe music is also pretty cool from what I experienced.

Tackle for Loss It’s basically Hotline Miami, but you’re a football player that’s gone on a CTE psychosis induced murder spree while dealing with the loss of his family. It’s rage inducing but really fun! If you like hotline Miami, you’ll probably like this too. Good story premise as well.

Powerwash Simulator I finally got around to rolling credits on this one ahead of playing the sequel. I had an itch to return to this one after like 3 years. The story in the background is so goofy, I love it. It's the perfect podcast game too. Can't wait to start the sequel soon!

Planet of Lana II! The sequel to a game I really enjoyed a couple years ago is a hell of a follow up. New puzzle mechanics build on the really neat puzzle design of it's predecessor. The story is told through a made up language and body language and it does it so well! Incredible soundtrack. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Every game I played in 2024! I have beaten all of them with the exception of Rise of the Ronin and Hands of Necromancy. I’m still working on those going into the new year lol. I played a lot less this past year than previous years. I’m hoping I can do 50% more this year.

Anyone with the opinion that Balatro is "Fishy," hasn't played it. There's no way they have. Context in image:

I was going through a box today to clear room in our office and I found this package that was unopened. I opened it and it was patches that we got from working on the Saints Row DLCs. That opened up an old wound seeing this. Really wish Volition hadn’t closed. 😞
