Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 01/03/2025I was hoping they’d have a few more options for character creation to fine tune the face, but I was able to make my hunter look as close to me as possible. Also check out my palico. Didn’t know what to do with him and just started messing around with the options till I came up with him. I’m in love. 010
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 08/02/2025Whenever I’m sad I watch the video of Funkmaster Flex premiering Otis on Hot 97 and I feel better 040

Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 08/02/2025When you listen to something kinda embarassing on Spotify and remember your Spotify is linked to Airbuds and also discord and you might get cooked but maybe that’s okay 010
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 26/01/2025Oh you mean the Code geass x bleach x Hunter hunter card game?? (Idk if it’s good or not but I know the gimmick is that it’s all crossover stuff that can all fight eachother) 010

Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 20/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 62: And last but not least: OBB actually FAILED its first build review. This was because I put a picture of the title screen in the screenshots on the store page. Oops! Glad I was able to end the daily fun facts with a good one. Thanks for your support everyone! 020
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 20/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 61: Here are some of the things you can expect in the Steam release of OBB coming from the itch version: - New obstacles in battle phase - Re-balanced characters - Health Minigame overhaul - Steam Leaderboards and achievement support - Bug Fixes … and more! 020
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 19/01/2025These are some CRAZY picks for one reason or another, this rocks. 100
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 19/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 60: The achievement for surviving until the end of the battle phase is called “And… Night Dawns” This is a reference to the Devil summoner song of the same name. youtu.be/vWT9Uhm8vS4?... 020
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 19/01/2025OOB FUN FACT 59: The achievement you get for evolving into mothman for the first time is called “Well, if it isn’t the idiot with too many friends!” This is a reference to one of Mothman’s iconic lines from SMT V 050
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 58: For some reason, I made the handle of the slider that shows the player’s combo timer a transparent version of the spike ball from the health minigame. Gonna be honest, don’t know how this happened. This has been fixed in the Steam release! 020
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 57: Here are some miscellaneous sprites that have went unused for one reason or another. 010
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 56: Originally, instead of a traditional timer, the timer in the raising phase was going to be a moon. When the moon was full, the training phase ended and the battle phase began. This was scrapped due to being a little too ambiguous. 010
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 55: It seems that the flatwoods monster is capable of speech, but rarely speaks. Mothman has the ability to speak, but nobody has ever heard him. Fresno Nightcrawler cannot speak. He has no mouth. 020
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 54: OBB IS OFFICIALLY UNDER REVIEW! In the next few days, the game should be ready to go! Wish me luck! 030
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 53: The raising phrase sprites are at a lower resolution than the Battle Phase sprites, this is to match the lower resolutions of classic Digimon digivices in the raising phase, and to give the impression of a bigger battle in the battle phase 010
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 52: The Steam version temporarily had to remove achievement support because I am a big dummy. Don’t worry, I fixed it! The game will launch with achievements intact! 010
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 51: Not counting this one, I’ve done 50 OBB fun facts. In 15 of them I’ve accidentally called it “OOB” I call my game the incorrect name aprox. 1/3 of the time. Clearly, you guys are in good hands. 010
Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 17/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 50: Due to popular demand, Ooga Booga Battle is coming to Mac! Didn’t know there was such high demand till I started looking for feedback. Ask and ye shall receive! 010

Big Scrumbo @bigscrumbo.bsky.social · 09/01/2025OBB FUN FACT 49: Let’s talk about some upcoming changes to the Steam version! The Steam version adds Steam leaderboard functionality, as well as achievements! Most of the achievements are jokes/ references in themselves, so maybe I’ll detail the reference in each one sometime? 020
