If you've ever had FroSho, you know it's a son-of-a-bitch! And that's exactly what will slowly roll off my tongue each time I feel the excruciating pain from the freezing stage of frozen shoulder. It's not a long term illness, but it lasts a long m************ time. And if you're as cool as me, you're gonna get it twice - each shoulder gets its own serving with no cherry on top.

Akira is pure comedy gold. I'd pay to see his show. ALT TEXT: A man is naked, holding a tiny plate over his goods and he quickly flips the plate around, not exposing himself, but it's scary because visually, you think he's going to accidentally expose himself.

Weekly Brew is now Currently Drinking, as I will be sharing a variety of things to sip.

Since the dawn of time, I've had an android phone in my hand, Samsung specifically. Until yesterday, I got my first iPhone. I was in the middle of a big project when it arrived. Of course, I immediately opened the box, turned on the phone, and looked for complaints in comparison to my unbreakable Samsung. Trying to bypass welcome screens, a popup said my phone number was now active.

No one will see me make a phone call again if I can help it.

Los Angeles and the sushi world have lost a legendary chef, who destroyed my reputation as a vegetarian. Twenty-three years ago, I moved to Los Angeles from the Southeast where the only seafood I knew was fried catfish, fried shrimp, and crab legs. At 19, I had become a strict vegetarian, raising my daughter to be healthy and clean. When I say 'strict', I mean no broth, and I'd ask if the French fries were fried in the same grease as the chicken.

Yes, that Myspace. Simpler times. I've had a hankering lately to look at my old account and see what's changed in the last decade. Last week, determined to revisit my space on Myspace, I went thru hours of remembering which email address I'd used. I couldn't get the password right to save my life. So, I tried a password reset, which meant I needed access to that old email I used when I first moved to LA two and a half decades ago.

Embedding my first vlog from YouTube, boy look at that paper pasted on the wall for my makeshift backdrop. I filmed on my very old camcorder. Cut me some slack on that brown shirt with the shoulders out - after editing the video, I threw that sucker in the trash. It's funny how much has changed since then. Go check it out and let me know if you have specific film or TV shows you'd like reviewed.

Just this week I received a union dues notice in the mail. "Wait - they sent one last week.". And then, duh-duh-duh...I ran to find the other 'notice' I'd tucked away to pay with next month's bills. OH YEAH, it was no dues notice. It was a residuals check! Cha-ching. The industry that keeps on giving. We are so lucky to work in this fantasy world, get paid for it, and have the applause continue for years to come.

Rarely do national publications talk about this topic that we love so much and we Digg This direction BHG is taking their readers in. Looks like Aunt Lissa is coming to the BBQ after all!

Let's talk about Pope Leo, from Chi Town. A man who devoted his entire life to his faith to gain no material possessions, no heads up on the stock market from insiders, with no need to be redacted from the Epstein files, because he's not in them - nor his buddies, by the way, who have a variety of skin tones and abilities,  only to lead his fellow Catholics to do good in this world and to help and accept others as they are.

Hello Subscribers and Readers, As you may have noticed my absence on this site for a while, I've made the decision that I will shut it down. Not the goals of Big Role, of course. This will be found on my personal professional website, under a Heading titled Big Role. (Gimme a week to get things tightened). The idea of this site is what I felt our community needs, but it's not my calling to make this type of content.

Disabled Justice System when it comes to litigants with disabilities being harassed by judge. Alex Padilla, Judicial Council, ADA, Supreme Court.

One would think I would be buried with my face in a pillow after opening a letter tonight from the Supreme Court of California stamped DENIED. But...why am I not in shock? Because lawmakers continue to ignore the Americans with Disabilities Act after 35 years. This ruling was not about a discrimination lawsuit. I'd had wrong side and type of surgery, left with a disfigured and dysfunctional nose, ghosted by the surgeon and hospital, and sought justice like any other American citizen.

The former special adviser on international disability rights calls for a societal shift towards valuing diverse experiences and fostering environments so people with and without disabilities thrive.
