A screenshot of IbisPaint on my phone, in which I'm drawing the sunburnt Ceilidh piece from my previous toot. The layers interface is on the screen, so there's a small thumbnail of the full image on one side, and on the other is the list of layers, each with its own thumbnail. I've highlighted layer 8, which is just the color red that makes up Ceilidh's sunburn. While the blending mode for most layers is the default "Normal," this layer, coincidentally, is set to "Linear Burn."

Now it's a high view of a few suburban blocks, with around two dozen houses arranged along some boulevards, complete with manicured grass lawns and fenced-in yards. This looks like a complete oxymoron within the context of the surrounding space vessel. Lin continues:

And now we see some tall towers and shiny, futuristic architecture that the aircraft is flying towards. Lin speaks:

Aaand last but not least, our destination: the administrative district! The nerve center at the heart of NLA.
