Watchword is TWELVE BUCKS right now and it's extremely worth it. If you're frustrated from dying in Silksong repeatedly, this is a game that's surprisingly relaxing for how challenging it is.

Optimizing code for performance is such a weird thing... So many of my systems are pretty easy to make more efficient just by putting some actual thought and design behind them rather than just rapidfire prototyping without a plan.

Curious to know how other devs handle difficulty curves in their games? It's crunch time so for the moment I hurriedly slapped points on a graph then just trial/error tweaked some curves that felt right. Very chaotic, I know 😅 I'm sure there's a better way #indiedev #gamedev
