If the Democrats control the Senate, they determine the schedule, time limits for arguments/questions, and whether witnesses will be called. It would be a very different trial. Failure to impeach will be a Democratic failure. Failure to convict is a Republican failure.

Thanks. But that was a hypothetical question that existed before the current acceleration of practical "AI" technology. Was wondering if the OP was referring to emergent questions. But, yes, all the old questions remain relevant.
