Now we're able to provide a safe and comfortable waypoint for these little, wonderful kitties before they move on to forever homes. They just want to eat, play, explore, and get as much lap (and shoulder) time as possible and for a couple weeks we do our best to give them all that.

They came from wonderful rescue and fosters in Texas who saved them from some really terrible situations, got them medical treatment and then on a bus for a long journey here.

Rachel and I are very fortunate that we have the ability to foster cats for Safe With Us animal rescue. The latest group that came up from Texas are some of the youngest, they're all between four and five months, we've ever taken in.

Escape is a brutal and gut-wrenching war story. The story features anthropomorphic animals in a war where the most difficult decisions have to be made and allies are hard to find. I love Remender's writing and Daniel Acuna's art is fantastic. #warcomics #imagecomics #rickremender

Comics that come from the dollar bins vary in condition, and when it comes to comics from the 60s & 70s they are typically well read and once loved. That's what makes it a nice surprise when I come across something in great shape, like this issue of Bonanza. #westerncomicsmonth #bonanza

As much as I enjoy Marvel's Western reprints from the 70s, Michael Fleisher's Jonah Hex takes the cake. The stories are gritty and are a bit edgy. Hex is not a tradional white hat western hero and that's what makes him so appealing. #jonahhex #dccomics #westerncomicsmonth
