Movie studios have such insane tunnel vision where they milk their franchises till they're dead while they should be coming up with completely new stories within these universes. Star Wars, HTTYD, and Marvel especially. All great franchises with great potential if they did something completely new.

How tf is it so hard to make an adaptation of an existing work. If you're making a live action remake, just use the existing dialogue and just REMAKE the scenes as closely as you possibly can. If this isn't possible due to copyright or something, just don't make a fucking adaption.
