The selection for today seems like a mixture of injuries and managing minutes. I think with more Ireland squad guys we will see a lot more squad rotation week by week

Mentally I have put Ulster last, last year all that being near the top of the league and then missing the play offs was very disheartening. This year I'm not getting my hopes up until the league is over, and even then guardedly.

Sorry, just noticed your reply. Hawkshaw was in Connacht academy and the 7s program. His brother plays centre for Connacht. He was in the U20s with Ritchie Murphy. Think he played AIL last year

Ulster 28-26 Edinburgh in the end. McNabney unscathed, no injuries that I saw. Devine looked good, Jenson I think will prove to be a good signing. King performed well on the wing

South Tyrone I am afraid, my wife has family up there but we don't eat out when we visit. That said she was working up there last year and the Mexican food from the bus near the Guildhall was a highlight.

Everything in moderation! As lollies go probably not the worst. My walk to the kitchen told me 9.3g of sugar, about 2-3 teaspoons? Hope you are enjoying yourself. Some better weather the next few days without being too hot

Same up north, though just back from the Fleadh in Belfast and in all my 48 years I have never seen Belfast like it. Pop up bars everywhere, people everywhere and an atmosphere like I have never seen. Hopefully somebody somewhere will take lessons about it

Loads of clean public toilets, not always new and fancy, but lots had soap, hot water and loo roll. We have very little that in NI now.

Tourism is done well, plenty to do, reasonably priced and made accessible. It isn't over sold, really enjoyable. We were in a (rented) motorhome and stuff was well set up for them, even big spaces in the supermarket carpark to get your shopping.

Food is good (as expected) and priced generally well. Coffee and ice-cream are weirdly expensive to buy out. The variety in supermarkets shows how much NI has been shafted post 2016.

As we all know Scotland is beautiful, so I won't talk about that. Traffic - much less than NI, even in Glasgow. The drivers are polite and don't constantly tailgate you. Generally the people are way more chilled, the only angry person I encountered in over 2 weeks was English.
