So if you grew up on Buffy the Vampire Slayer like me, or just fancy The Witcher 3 with a very cool vampire mode, give this a go. You won’t be disappointed. In fact, if enough people buy it, maybe Rebel Wolves will release a DLC where we can give Mirto a proper haircut. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I do also have to mention how incredible the combat is in this game. The directional blocking and parrying became second nature after such a short time, and that coupled with witchcraft abilities meant I wasn’t underpowered during the daytime whatsoever. It’s just so fun to play.

…brain needs or I end up hunting down every little side mission and getting burned out before the end. It’s refreshing for a game that has a ‘we’re in a rush’ narrative actually rush you at times. That said, it’s still very generous and you can get every main questline done in one playthrough!

After almost 50 hours, that’s The Blood of Dawnwalker complete. I absolutely loved it. The whole game was filled with memorable characters and exciting stories full of twists and turns. I also loved the time mechanic. Being forced to prioritise certain quests is what my…

One month ago today I got to: - Sit in the Taskmaster chair - Have a photo with Greg and Alex - Meet Harry (whose finger was bitten by Charlie in the historic YouTube video). It was a ridiculous day.

Been obsessed with Control Resonant the last week and for all its weirdness it’s very easy to pick apart. Combat is monotonous. The open world is full of filler. Pacing is off. Boss mechanics are dull. Yet it’s still one of my favs of the year?!

His was for services to the PC industry rather than gaming

There are so many amazing contenders too! I remember it being brought up on a Ukie panel with 2 MPs a few months ago, so hope it starts getting noticed.

I still find it astonishing that Sir Ian Livingstone is the only person knighted for services to the UK games industry. Film, TV and sport are constantly recognised with knighthoods, yet one of Britain's biggest creative industries has had just one.

Jumping on the latest posting trend! I'm sure I've missed some glaringly obvious ones, but each of these is a banger that I fell in love with.

Graphic titled “My 9 Games: The 9 Games That Shaped Who I Am”, featuring a 3x3 grid of game covers: Grim Fandango, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy X, Destiny, Rayman, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, RollerCoaster Tycoon, and Final Fantasy XIV Online.

It might be basic with shallow repetitive combat, but I still enjoyed Wolverine more than I expected - mainly because the story between these two has so much heart and is so well performed. Still I wish it had been an X-Men game playing as multiple characters to give more variety.

I finished Splatoon Raiders yesterday & it’s not only my favourite Splatoon game, but easily the best game I’ve played all year. I enjoyed every minute with it - the levels, customisation, challenges, just everything feels so much fun to play. Now I’m at post game and there’s tons more to do too!
