“James Earl felt that the voice of Darth Vader was inseparable from the story of Star Wars, and he always wanted fans of all ages to continue to experience it." I'm sure he actually meant "use my voice for shit posts and unfiltered racism in Fortnite." What a way to spit on his legacy and trust

I never thought I would reach a point in my career where I HAD to learn League of Legends. Gotta question if it's worth it...

A month ago, I nearly quit steaming and my creative pursuits. Now I'm in London working on a top secret, life changing, and completely insane project! I can't wait to share this with everyone, but I hope this can also work as an example of never giving up. Thank you to everyone who had faith in me!

The new weekly schedule is here! I'm doing bonus streams this week to make up for being sick, and because I am away to London next week to start work on a huge, top secret project! See you all soon!

The new weekly schedule is here! Sorry for the lack of consistency with the schedule recently. There has been a lot of exciting stuff (and some regular boring stuff) going on lately which often demands my last minute attention. Please bare with me! See you wonderful bastards soon!

A potentially life changing opportunity has appeared before me and I've never been so nervous. If it works out, it'll be one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me, but if it doesn't, the fact that I've gotten to a place where I even had the chance is amazing! For now... we wait...

I once held a lot of love for the work Nintendo put into the world, but supporting them as they are now, can only be described as enabling the rapid exploitation of fans and the gaming industry. I sincerely hope people put their foot down and refuse to accept the rot Nintendo is trying to push.

020

BigFatCelestial/ JamieSmithVA @bigfatcelestial.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

I understand tariffs will impact the price of the console itself, but the sickening hike in the cost of games (especially compared against how little they put towards developers) is unjustifiable. It is not consistent with inflation or market trends. Simply unapologetic greed.

040

BigFatCelestial/ JamieSmithVA @bigfatcelestial.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

I don't care what games or exclusives they release on the Switch 2. No matter how much love I once had for Nintendo games, they are a monstrous company who no longer have an ounce of passion or care about what they put into the world. The developers and fans of Nintendo deserve so much more.

010

BigFatCelestial/ JamieSmithVA @bigfatcelestial.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

I feel sorry for Nintendo fans, because over time Nintendo have become something that can only be described as awful. All the news about the Switch 2 is disturbing from an industry perspective. They are actively trying to destroy countless jobs for their own greed while fostering awful conditions.

Your thoughts and feelings are valid. I also respect you immensely for encouraging such open back and forth discussion. Power to ya Mori

110

BigFatCelestial/ JamieSmithVA @bigfatcelestial.bsky.social · 20/03/2025

Some people are better with titles and events, some people don't think about it much. At the end of the day, the most important thing is do you like to be in the stream. You're free to decide what you like and dislike, but try to keep in mind we all see things differently, and just wanna do our best

010

BigFatCelestial/ JamieSmithVA @bigfatcelestial.bsky.social · 20/03/2025

I've seen people who do whatever they can for views, and I've seen people doing everything to create a great community. We all have different experiences and processes, and we all have different goals that mean more or less to others. Sometimes we just do what we see others do. Life is trial & error

110

BigFatCelestial/ JamieSmithVA @bigfatcelestial.bsky.social · 20/03/2025

I appreciate where you're coming from, but in general, the aspiration to grow and complete goals is a good thing. I title all my streams "scottish va does x thing" because that's my draw. It's not a selfish desire, but a want to accomplish something as a community

110

BigFatCelestial/ JamieSmithVA @bigfatcelestial.bsky.social · 20/03/2025

Some people stream as a hobby and some people stream as a job. Both are of course totally fine but everyone has different goals and motivations. Specifically in the case of something like partner, it can create a lot more opportunities for the streamer and by proxy the community
