From personal unfortunate experience: probably for you to deactivate/go on hiatus and for you to lose friends/acquaintances in the space. This kind of backhanded b.s. is what isolates a person and very much turns into a D.A.R.V.O kind of thing...

Man what the actual hell? I am so sorry you're going through this, but you immediately apologized and took accountability for the mistake. What more could they have possibly wanted???

If we're talking about Luces specifically: you better be a relative or one of his partners. Cause he will not be happy about it. As for Jade & Neri, they lean into the whole lizard" & "gecko" comparison. They don't mind it and find it funny

Very fair and I've seen people use Rit Dyemore Dye(the one meant for plastics) on their dolls to change their skin tone, but that's definitely a "test on a small patch first before dying the whole thing" kind of modification...

Ooo that's a really good base for a custom especially as a first one! Make sure to work in layers and if you're using Mr. Superclear (a spray on sealant) wear proper PPE! I've done a couple custom Pullips & Dals and they're super easy to modify
