I feel like fujimoto legit just got tired of chainsaw and wan to move on to something else and he just rushed the ending to get it over with. Overall i still enjoyed part 2 but holy hell that ending is not it.

Like, no yoru mention at all, the main villain of the second part and her last panels are her saying she’ll have sex with denji? We don’t get to see asa’s feelings on what denji was doing before the reset? Pochita’s powers work differently this one time? Nayuta is there for some reason? No aki?

Like, on it’s own the chapter is fine, good even, but it feels like we needed like 30 extra chapters before this to flesh out everyone and foreshadow the ending.

Im not gonna lie, maybe im naive but i think fujimoto‘s just trolling. There’s too many plot points in part 2 that were clearly thought out beforehand The death devil reveal, the fumiko reveal, the kid that denji didnt save in the beginning of part 2 coming back like 100 chapters later, its too much

You know how much fujimoto likes his repetition but yeah I agree something has to change before the ending. Sorry if I sound high on cope but i just don’t believe fujimoto would kill him just like that. The ending has to be bittersweet to work in my opinion and Denji can’t keep suffering forever

I think it’s a bit of both. Obviously pochita came out because yoshida was the only thing even resembling a friend that denji had, but a part of it is definitely the trauma from seeing barem burn someone he loves to a crisp, that’s why barem didn’t transform, it’s to remind denji of nayuta/the pets

That’s fair, i just have faith in fujimoto that he’s not gonna waste a character like yoshida this way. I do believe this may be the last time he and denji interact ending their relationship but his character still has so much left to be explored it would baffle me if this is the end of his story

Im surprised you think he’s dead, to me this chapter made me believe he‘s alive even more. He’s clearly working with death and barem to bring pochita out but we still don’t know if a pawn of death can be killed. To me it makes more sense if Death made him her pawn and he’s become semi-immortal.

Like the first time she’s introduced she’s wearing a school uniform and she takes denji out on a karaoke date, it’s not until later that we learn she’s 22. She definitely did the exact same thing to other high school boys besides denji and actually had sex with them to turn them into more of her.

My oomfs have pointed out how tragic this chapter makes fumiko but honestly I can’t stop thinking about the fact that based on her character fumiko has definitely raped high school boys to create more of her. This chapter does such a good job at making me feel bad for her and hate her 10 times more.

I like the spanish translation a lot more It roughly says "You're nothing more than a disgusting devil with the face of an angel." It makes him sound less surprised about yoru being a devil and more like he's baffled at how horrible she is, like he thought she wasn't that bad and was just having fun
