HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 28/06/2026Finally. That's every mission in the PW DLC beaten, I may once again crown myself king dirtbag of the air and move on with my life. 000
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 26/02/2026"Friends" is a beloved American sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004, following six young adults—Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe—living in New York City. The show explores their friendships, romances, careers, and personal growth over ten seasons 041

HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 18/04/2025"But then you feel it. Riko's hand, gripped hard around yours, trembling a little, sweating a little. Riko's hand with its brittle bones and crumpled skin. Riko's hand. And in that moment you understand why you made this choice. And then you squeeze Riko's hand, and you wake up." 172

HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 23/10/202413. Cryptark Another super frenetic action game. A 2D shooter about diving into a fleet of derelict alien ships in power armor to shut down ancient security systems. Banger soundtrack, great action. Still need to check out the sequel, Gunhead. 000
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 23/10/202412. SOMA One of my favorite horror games, and one of my favorite games of 2015. Got way deeper into questions about self and consciousness than I expected. Plus, love some good goopy horror. 110
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 21/10/202411. Ghostrunner Discovering that I have a thing for games with fast, knife's-edge encounters. Love the way the ghostrunner games feel. Movement feels heavier and more precise than in games like Titanfall, but somehow the movement and combat still just *click*. 100
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 21/10/202410. Euro Truck Simulator 2 During lockdown, I splurged and bought a racing wheel, intending to use it for some of the racing games I own. Instead, I spent about a hundred hours driving trucks across Europe. I still bust this game out a lot during the cold months. 110
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 21/10/20249. Project Wingman Take Ace Combat and turn all the dials up to 11. Honestly a pretty impressive love letter to Ace Combat games, given that the core dev team is fewer than 5 people. I love the way this game feels to play. 100
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 20/10/20248. Highfleet A game featuring 2d aerial combat with giant methane-fueled airships, a touch of interactive fiction, and a lot of lunar lander: lethal edition. As you play this game, you'll come to realize that nothing on the navigation screen is for decoration, and every button & dial does something 220
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 20/10/20247. Shattered Horizon Sadly de-listed in 2015, but a stand-out in my memory (still playable if you happen to own it, though). A zero-g, six degrees of freedom shooter set in earth's orbit after a mining disaster blows off a chunk of the moon. A really neat spin (literally) on an FPS game. 210
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 20/10/20246. Metro 2033 The Metro games scratch an itch in an incredibly satisfying way for me. Last year I played 2033 and Last Light on Ranger difficulty (higher damage and reduced HUD) and it rocked. My favorite post-apocalyptic tunnel rat simulator. 100
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 20/10/20245. Titanfall 2 A really fun, concise single player campaign with a multiplayer scene that's still going 8 years later. Definitely one of those "nothing else quite like it" games. If you want to play a game where it's fun to fight on foot or in a two-story mecha, check it out. 111
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 20/10/20244. House of the Dying Sun A short but sweet dogfighting game about getting in, assassinating a target, and getting out before the cavalry arrives. A really well done space flight game, and an exemplar of knife's edge run-based games. You WILL be outmanned and outgunned on your first playthrough. 100
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 20/10/20243. XCOM I've lost track of how many hours I've played the new XCOM games. I played Enemy Unknown until I could do an ironman run on hard without breaking a sweat. I have more quibbles with 2, but I still find myself booting it up for a run at least once a year. 110
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 20/10/20242. Rollerdrome Another game dripping with style that feels slick as hell to play. Killer soundtrack by Electric Dragon, plays like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater meets battlebots. A game about skating through arenas filled with house players trying to kill you in a near-future bloodsport. Love it. 110
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 20/10/20241. Hyper Light Drifter If you know me, you know this is top of the list. My favorite game. I replay it regularly and its aesthetic and story hold a really special place in my heart. Plus, gun 'n' sword is a cool combo. It's always cool. 110
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 19/10/2024I'm down to share a bit. Give this a like, and I'll get back to it when I'm back from a run. 1130
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 08/08/2024A while back I started using a mantled beast avatar in vr chat (photo attached) and came to enjoy it. A moment that helped me get toward seeing myself as non-binary was a good friend telling me they really liked it and that it looked "very genderless", and getting a really fuzzy feeling from that. 160
HereticSoul/Naux @bigdamage.biz · 07/12/2023Surprise! I'm not going to be on a plane this evening, so tonight (starting sometime after 7pm EST) I'll be digging into Sprawl. From what I've seen it's the bastard child of Ghostrunner and Quake, with a healthy dose of EBM tunes. So basically, my shit. bigdamage.biz 020
