Another federal judge in Colorado has reached a breaking point with the federal government's lawless behavior. Chief Magistrate Judge Scott Varholak has set a hearing for next month to discuss the Department of Homeland Security's "apparent repeated violation of the law."

his case presents one in a series of cases in which DHS appears to have simply
ignored the law and detained an individual in violation of the law. The United States has
not—and apparently cannot—defend that decision. A hearing is set for September 10,
2026 at 9:00 a.m. at which the Defendants shall be prepared to address their apparent
repeated violation of the law.

My daughter lives in Utah. When I was helping her move in on a Sunday afternoon we went to Costco to get some things. I was prepared for mayhem like in Colorado. But it was dead. I pulled into parking lot and thought it must be closed. But no. Mormons don’t shop on Sundays. Best Costco experience!

Slavery reparations were never pursued. Jim Crow laws were allowed. Lynchings were not punished. Racists were tolerated and welcomed into power. Slave states were protected And Schumer and his ilk want to get along with fascists and fascist enablers to keep government functioning and their own power

🧵Agree. I think the constant mistake we’ve made that causes this cycle is appeasement. Reconstruction was abandoned a few years after the Civil War. Those who committed atrocities against our Native Americans were celebrated as heros of the frontier expanding American power and never punished ….
