Just a reminder from a software engineer, websites aren't free to run! Especially for furries who try to keep corporate money out. Don't want corporate money in your furry website? Don't want even more ads to be added? Hate to break it to you, but you're gonna have to help as a community then

The third stream of the colony of Yeriver coming up at 5pm EDT, in one hour! We've finally got housing. We finally got research for better heating. Now we even got higher taxes, from our benefactors the Claws, yay. Maybe we can pay them a different way?

Hey all! Hope you're having a great day! Brief and good; I know last night's stream wasn't the best due to dropped frames. I'm incredibly thankful for all who stayed through it. The quality wasn't the best and I could tell it was hard, so it means all the more that you stayed.

Love the way this teacher ( @heymrsbond.com ) talks about process and the importance of every step and the way this student learns!!

A screenshot from the quote posted article:

And instead of grading only the final essay or presentation, Bond grades the different parts of the process, including the thesis, the outline, the bibliography and the handwritten draft.
"The steps matter to the cumulative overall grade because that's how I know that the thinking is happening," Bond says. "I think a student is less likely to turn in something that is written by Al if they've had to show me the beginning, the middle and the end, and the different pieces that go into it."

A screenshot from the quote posted article:

"It probably wasn't smart, but also I had other work to do. So I put it through Al. I had it write it for me."

Bond says she realized immediately that T had used Al. She was disappointed, but she tried not to take it personally.

"He really felt overwhelmed and he got to a point where he felt really afraid of not turning something in, and so he turned something in," Bond says.
T redid the assignment from scratch with help from Bond.

He says he now has this advice for students who may be tempted to use Al to do their schoolwork for them: "Take a second and think about it. Would you rather really grow from an experience of actually doing some work and critically thinking about the things you're writing or talking about, or just taking nothing away from it and just use a robot?"
