i think i needed a character that grew exclusively with the touch of water, i think its a uniquely attractive manner of growth, but also this was a massive change of pace from what i normally draw, and I'm really happy with the end result.

This sounds particularly similar to my own experiences, and only recently had I come to terms with the potential of it being a flavor asexuality.
