For the most of the 1800's women’s fashion was all about heavy, voluminous dresses and tight corsets. In the later part, as bicycles became popular, and affordable, fashion reflected the bicycle's integration into women's lives. The safety #bicycle was also more user-friendly than its predecessors.

Secured two jobs - as a painter and a cook - but getting to them was a challenge. A Dynacraft Wipe Out provided a dandy solution. Another cool little bicycle was restored for his boy, too, and now the two also ride together on weekends. A #bicycle is an amazing facilitator, making lives ever better.

Between 1885 and 1895, inventors and engineers vastly improved the previous generation of #bicycle to what was then dubbed the "safety bicycle." With these further developments, a type was designed for women in particular, with a drop frame in order to accommodate women's clothes. Cycling couture.

Bike riders being struck is all-too-common even in small town America. Kids need to learn how to ride their bicycles safely. This young lady was lucky she wasn't killed. An "inattentive" cop can't be counted on to look out for young cyclists. When the investigation is over, the kid gets the blame.
