DeVonta Smith is most likely OUT vs. Rams on Sunday. He has the second best target share among WR in the NFL. Big loss for the Eagles, coming off an embarrassing loss to the Bears. #Eagles

000

Devonta Smith’s hamstring injury from August may have worsened over the last few weeks, particularly Week 3. Hopefully this is just a one week “shut down” versus an IR stint situation like Travis Etienne’s reinjury. Eagles are still without Dallas Goedert too.

000

With DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown seemingly out for the Rams game, the Eagles will enter Week 4 with these WRs: Dontayvion Wicks Makai Lemon Darius Cooper Elijah Moore Britain Covey (Also have Xavier Gipson on the practice squad.)

000

Many Eagles fans have been asking for Makai Lemon and Darius Cooper to be more involved. They’ve also asked for Jeremiah Trotter Jr. to start to help improve the defensive front. Philadelphia’s fans will likely get their wish on Sunday just not how they wanted to. 😬

000

Rams get back Puka Nacua as the Eagles prepare to be without DeVonta Smith.

200

There is not much optimism Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith will play Sunday against the Rams, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. Smith has been sidelined with a hamstring injury this week and the expectation is he won’t be able to go Sunday.

000

First time in a while the injury bug is hurting the #Eagles this early on Dickerson, Goedert, Smith, Baun, Carter, a lot of starters getting hurt

Update: Since Phillies-Braves is the last series standing, Game 3 on Thursday starts at 8 pm ET.

Game 3 between the Phillies and Braves will take place at 8 p.m. on Thursday night. It's the only playoff game of the day.

Joey Porter Jr went from a bad team who refuse to pay players to a bad team who refuse to pay players.

The Cowboys have 20 players set to be unrestricted free agents in 2027 and six are represented by David Mulugheta: George Pickens, Joey Porter Jr., DeMarvion Overshown, P.J. Locke, Broderick Jones, Malik Hooker.

000

Cowboys play the Texans this Sunday and then the Bucs on @NFLonPrime four days later. Dallas believes Joey Porter Jr. can play pretty quickly, but I’m told they’re going to have to see how he is once they get him on the practice field to see if that Week 5 TNF game is possible.

000

Instead of paying Micah Parsons $46.5M per year, the Cowboys traded him for two Round 1 picks and Kenny Clark. They've now traded away a Round 1 and two Round 2 picks for Quinnen Williams and Joey Porter Jr., whom they will pay combined (assuming JPJ extension) ~$65.3M per year

200

The final terms … • Cowboys get: CB Joey Porter Jr. • Steelers get: 2027 sixth-round pick, 2028 second-round pick. Interestingly enough, the sixth-rounder is the Steelers’ pick that Dallas got as part of the Pickens trade. Porter is going to Dallas without a new contract.

I just gotta say something real fast If this was it with Edmundo Sosa, what a time it’s been. Excellent utility player and energy guy for the club house The bitches will always love Sosa🫶❤️

How many times every NFL team has punted this season:

The Phillies-Braves game time tomorrow is contingent on what happens tonight. If both the Yankees and Padres win, the Phillies-Braves game is at 8 ET. If either the Cubs or Red Sox win tonight, Phillies-Braves is at 2 ET again

Good news: The Phillies beat the Braves, 4-3. Bad news: Vic Fangio is about to get cooked.

000

The Phillies are meeting to discuss Game 3 pitching plans. Aaron Nola, Zack Wheeler, even Jesus Luzardo, who started Game 1, might be available.

Back-to-back homers to tie or take the lead in a postseason game, 8th inning or later, @EliasSports: - Reds, 1976 NLCS G3 (George Foster/Johnny Bench) (tied) - Braves, 1999 NLCS G4 (Brian Jordan/Ryan Klesko) (go-ahead) - Angels, 2002 ALDS G2 (Garret Anderson/Troy Glaus) (go-ahead)

Sean McVay said Puka Nacua will be limited today but he expects him to play against Eagles. Aaron Donald will not practice because of back issue.

000

Breaking News: #49ers EDGE Keion White (hamstring) will not practice today due to his injury

000

FYI: #Eagles had a closed-to-reporters walkthrough today. So will have to wait for practice report later this evening for official injury updates.

Today has been a HUGE day for @thePHIspecial! He was featured on the NFL’s official YouTube channel for an Eagles vs. Rams game preview. But more importantly, the Eagles have re-signed IDL Gabe Hall to the practice squad. 😉 t.co/uXJfTRCG0i

The Bears opened the practice window for DB Kyler Gordon, who remains on PUP.

Rams HC Sean McVay told reporters that he expects WR Puka Nacua, who has had a groin injury, to play Sunday vs. the Eagles.

Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber,

More offensive line help; Veteran guard Kevin Zeitler, who has played 14 NFL seasons, is signing a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers, per sources. This week, the Packers now have added veteran offensive linemen Zeitler, Laken Tomlinson and Mekhi Becton.

RE: #Eagles offense’s marrying of the run and pass off under-center, play-action. I asked Nick Sirianni about the low numbers last week and he pointed to the struggles on early downs. Fair enough.

Why Geno Smith's hot start has been a bright spot for the Jets

It’s early, but … A closer look at how Geno Smith is changing the narrative. Had more passing yards in the 4th Q in Detroit than Justin Fields had in 5 of 9 starts. #Jets www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...

See the second line, an alleged employee at City instructing Simon Pearce to ensure all the different payments are FUNDED by 'ADUG'. See the third line... this is pandoras box. All emails sent via work emails too.

Ferran Soriano, the man Pep just backed is CC’d in the email below clearly showing a City staff member instruct how to divide payments between Etihad and “ADUG” (Ownership). Ferran was aware of it all. Image 2 shows a City employee clearly trying to hide the ADUG money. INSANE.

Yankees just announced Game 1 non-starters. All injured players and players not making roster are on field… everyone except Aaron Judge. Weird.

FINAL: White Sox 6, Astros 3 Battle of the bullpen game goes to Chicago, which got three scoreless from rookie Hagen Smith and scored in four of the first five innings. White Sox looking to win their first playoff series since the 2005 World Series and have two chances to do it.
