Now I've got the full game! Don't know what other clothing options will become available, so I just made some custom stuff to best match her usual outfits.

Downloaded the demo for Tomadachi Life to give its goober creation a go! It'll always bother me that character creators never have hairstyles even close to what Nikki's is, but think these turned out very well otherwise!

My fursona Nikki, in Mii form, thanks to Tomadachi Life on the Switch. There's a bit of a gap between her ears and either side of her mohawk, because character creators in games largely suck for these sorts of hairstyles.

On the 4th March 2021, I created a funny tall hyena friend known as Nikki. Here's a Then & Now piece to commemorate Five Years of Nikki! On the left is Classic Nikki, based on her original ref, and on the right is Modern Nikki. #nikki #furryart

Gonna post some outfit refs I've done for Nikki, to go alongside her recently update ref sheet. The fourth outfit here is based on a design by @/plentyblush.bsky.social‬!

Nikki's standard outfit: a black tank top with white trim tucked into a belted pair of high-waist, ripped purple shorts, and yellow and white low top canvas shoes.

Nikki's fall outfit: a purple sherpa-lined corduroy jacket, worn over a black t-shirt with a white collar. The shirt is tucked into a belted, green tartan skirt. On her legs, she wears fishnet tights and black thigh-high lace-up boots.

Nikki's summery outfit: ripped sleeveless denim jacket, worn over a belted strapless dress, with a white and yellow floral pattern on black. On her feet she wears a pair of yellow and white low-top canvas shoes.

Nikki's alternative outfit, based on a design by @plentyblush.bsky.social‬: A reddish pink tartan collared shirt, with rolled up sleeves and corners tied at the front. Underneath is a black, strapless top, tucked into a pair of high-waist jeans, which are ripped around the thighs. On her feet are a pair of blue and white high-top canvas shoes.

Yipee. Time to make my first ever appeal on Bluesky, I guess. I'd love if Bluesky mods didn't behave like Tumblr's, who apparently think a fat body is inherently sexual. That's the only way you could look at Nikki's ref and decide it needs this label attached to it.

Absolute dogshit graphic cobbled together at the last minute to celebrate international hyena day.
