I put up a makeshift disc swing in front of my house for my kids to use. Now that school's back, I get to see all kinds of people play with it, teenagers included. These are particularly funny because they just let out their inner kids from those almost-adult bodies.

Just because they don't have the history doesn't mean they don't know. Particularly when it come to US popular culture, many are aware. The only big difference seems to be that it is not about black people. But the form is very similar.

You can see it manga. How the portrayal of black people has changed over the decades. From very racist to good representation. That means they are very aware of the issue, and that it's a global issue. These are modern countries, not insular, backward territoriea that have never seen other people.

No. That is my point. They are racists, not just xenophobes. Just look Japanese history with the people of Hokkaido or other isles. Look at Korean racist TV adds. Even going back hundreds of years you can see a culture that values "whiteness".
