i’m not opposed to people changing. people do change but it takes a lot of humility and you have to be willing to use your past self as an example to others of what not to do. these rtv stars have super fragile egos and stans that feed them which is why most of them never actually learn their lesson

A BB4 board topic discussing whether #bbsky can be considered an [isolated] game. Could be applied to the current #bb28 deep dive recepient. I think that BB, and RTV competitions, cannot be isolated, starting with the outside identities the players bring to a social environment.

I would have made the same decision as a woman of color. You can't change minds on people like Angela. She literally yelled at Yash about swearing & couldn't understand Tay's POV on how nobody gave her a chance.. I also feel like Dee was better for Taylor's game, then Angela could have ever been.

I get sick of major podcasters, analysts of the game and alumni making a big deal and saying how great it was for Dee to convince Yash and Taylor to keep her and evict Angela. They keep saying this was a major mistake by Tash without looking into how biased Angela was to people of color. #bb28

I’m glad the black/brown HGs affected by the other houseguests lobbing racially charged comments around have been forgiving and friendly (I’m not critical of that) but those racial biases still played a role in the season and black and brown fans who watched it are valid to feel upset.

BB28 has been over for a week and I’ve been seeing a lot of “they love each other so the racial bias/microaggresion discourse was hysterical” or “fans should no longer be upset” in the wider community. A good reminder: racial bias is never just a personal problem.

Nigella is so good with her critiques. Even when she doesn't like something, she finds a way to pull a lesson out of it so the bakers can improve. Paul just says "I don't like it and here's why." I'm ready for him and his damn handshake to go.

As a tangent, this is why having last-minute guaranteed safety via one's own BBBB comp ability is limiting to what the twist could be, A TWIST THAT MUST SAVE A NOMINEE. The speculation is tedious if a fit competitior is competing, on top of there being days to just stick to contingency plans.

I do not have full concrete thoughts yet on #bbsky producers prolly setting up physically-fit people as easy targets on a game with competitions suited for mentally-fit people. I think there's lot of discussion to be had. But, physically-fit people still do generally well, to start.

So, I do not necessarily want to bring more back more comps testing physical fitness, especially like wrestling as was mentioned in the interview. Variety should be sought for the mechanics: different types of puzzles, reaction tests, COMPS WITH HG INTERACTIONS, a few RNG-based comps, and etc.

I do like that the BB comps are less physical than other shows, because the early seasons focused on comps that were set up primarily in the backyard. And, BB SHOULD remain as the least physically-demanding of the CBS trifecta, given its setting, so they could also cast less fit people.

Production has been lazy in squeezing out the same "flash" memory mechanic in their quiz booth comps. Production is also lazy for having a lot of jigsaw-esque puzzles, and the puzzle pieces made big to be "TV-ready" or something, idk. Production lacks variety.

Since it interrupts the original third post to this thread below, I will say that Chuk also mentioned how he lost some competitive edge, or motivation, knowing that most of the comps will be testing mental skills. Not saying that he's unfit, but he was invigorated with the Wall.
