I’ve been told government plans to aggressively attack teachers sick leave. Roughly 95% of teachers feel this way. Maybe more. “Teachers have it too good” is a wild myth the sell you. Despite ALL the perks you can think of - 3/4 of teachers don’t think the jobs worth it. #onted #onpoli #cdnpoli

Something you need to understand:
1) NO teacher wants to miss a day. It is WAY more work to be away than show up.
2) Teachers generally understand we get good time off. And that means that during the school year, we should avoid missing time whenever humanly possible.
They don't want YOU to have the sick leave you deserve. So they tap into anger you have towards someone else "having it too good". They use & manipulate you into voting against your own wellbeing.
Because that's WAY easier & cheaper than them having to admit, that despite #1 & #2 - a school environment is so toxic & germ ridden, it should be scary that teachers need access to so many days.
They don't want to talk about the environment
