Two guys I respect, Adam Johnson and Eoin Higgins, debated whether Chait’s visceral hatred of Muslims is driven mainly by bigotry (Higgins) or if it’s part of a broader ideological project against Palestine (Johnson). I think it’s a little of both, as seen by this today:
